Relax vadhim :) You will be plenty of time once you pass the exams, or whatever. SORR it's an outstanding game, but only that, a game. Study harder, as that bloody bastard that holds a fistful of boomstick said ( from heart Saven :P ) and you will be able to enjoy more your life, with the satisfaction of the hard work done and the confide in yourself that provides to see the fruits of your effort to bring. SORR it's best to play not as a compensation like " Damn life, I have failed all my exams, at least I have you, SORR " but " Ahhh...I beaten out the crap out of those damn fucking exams and now...it's SORR turn!! "

You see the difference? :P

Cheers dude!!!! :D

Thanks for the update :) !

That's why this going to be one of the greatest fangames in gaming history, because of the amazing attention to detail.

dude... I never heard of anyone or seen anyone that put this much work (details, graphics, etc.) into a
16-bit/2D game before... its amazing. (Bomber... your just too cool )

indeed, kinda sad knowing fans put more effort into games more than the developers themselves. I already know of 2 cancelled fan games, Chrono Trigger 3D, and this Double Dragon game. Guess developers don't want people to steal their thunder

SEGA may act the same way towards Sonic Fan Remix.

Square Enix and Nintendo are the most strict when it comes to fangames and such. I would never recommend making a fangame out of any of their games.

Square-Enix are obsessively strict, but Nintendo don't give a damn. There are literally hundreds of Mario fangames (http://www.mfgg.net/) - so many that they actually have awards ceremonies for the best produced each year, and a huge number of Metroid fangames, etc. And they're all perfectly safe. Sega don't go after Sonic fangames either - there have been countless released, and none have gotten any legal warnings as far as I'm aware.

Capcom are also totally cool with fan-games. Plenty of Megaman fangames. Hell, Megaman: 8-Bit Deathmatch was just released recently.

Square-Enix are just crazy - they recently ended up with the license to the Carmageddon series. Games which were by a small UK studio and haven't seen a release (or even re-release) in a decade. It had nothing whatsoever to do with Square as a company, but when they found out that a fan was trying to make an updated Carmageddon game, they dropped the hammer on him.

They're flat-out crazy, and there's no legal reason for it. You don't lose trademarks/copyrights if you let fans create derivative works. If that were the case, Nintendo wouldn't own Mario, George Lucas wouldn't own Star Wars and so on.

Wasn't there a few Zelda fangames that got a C&D though?

I recall hearing that one that claimed to have gotten a C&D was just a hoax. Only thing I can find that was confirmed shut down by Nintendo was a fan-movie called The Hero Of Time.

Im not too concerned with Nintendo for one reason. Metroid 2 Remake. This game has been in the works for a few years now and has been voted as top 3 best games at the last couple of NCFC conventions so Im pretty sure there nothing to worry about there. Not to mention the ammount of really promising Mario fan games like The Midas Machine and Psycho Waluigi and the websites dedicated entirely to Mario fan games.

Most companies seem to be pretty cool with fan games, and they should be because without the fans their nothing. Its not like a fan game is going to stop people from buying the next release of whatever game comes out next for that series. Square Enix on the other hand just happens to be a bunch of pricks with no value for their fans. Im not even a Chrono Trigger fan but my heart was honestly broken the day they decided to shut down Chrimson Echoes just weeks before the release day when they were well aware of the project long before announcing the release. Thats just soooooooooo low on their part and I have had absolutely no more respect for them as a company since. Its not like it would of stopped anyone from buying the next Chrono Trigger game assuming they ever bring it back to begin with.

Anyway, this is all really off topic...
