Over at Genesis Poll there there is a voting poll for the 20th Anniversary of the Sega Genesis.

From August 14th to 24th the daily poll (you can vote once a day for all 10 days, so you get 10 votes in all and all of them count)

The winner of the poll of the selection of games is the next game to be made available on XBLA. So any of guys favor Streets of Rage 1, or another particular Genesis game on the list, make your vote count and it could be the next game you could get for your 360 console to play on Live.

Ah, I didn't know they would cover that under the "New Releases topic" as nothing is set in stone yet.

Although the way the poll is heading it seems Earthworm Jim might win...I never really was a particular fan of that game.

I was secretly hoping that Streets of Rage or Shining Force would win. Maybe the votes will change.

Hey guys! I don't mean no harm to the Earth Worm Jim fans but I really hated that game. And BadChad is right! How does Jim get alot more votes than the Rage. SOR is way better than that game anostly!

No not say it was the worst game because it not by a long shot.... but it kinda urks me that it get more more credit when the Golden Axes and Streets of Rages were the two best genisis games

What game is that, Vamp? Btw, lol @ Toe Jam & Earl for 2nd place. I'm guessing ppl liked Earthworm Jim because it was humorous and fun. But yeah, those other titles are better.

Well personally I hope all of those games on that website would be added.

Might be nice if the Xbox Live Arcade crew was jerking our chain the whole time and the poll was fake and decided to release ALL of those games for the Sega Genesis 20th Anniversary.

The Genesis deserves that much respect, in my opinion at least since it was one of my favorite consoles of all time being that it was the birthplace of the Streets of Rage series, the Genesis gets much respect from me.

I never played Earthworm Jim and I'm not surprised that SOR isn't winning, some of the other games seem to be more well known.

Something else I realize, is that of all of those games in that poll. Earthworm Jim is the only game in that list that is NOT a Genesis exclusive.

I figure since they are trying to do this to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Genesis, then I personally think that they should have only picked games that made the Genesis good for what it was for games that were only exclusive to it's library, in both 1st and 3rd party titles.

I can think of over 10 different games to that are Genesis exclusives that would perfectly fit the bill that haven't been already ported to the XBLA as well as games not even listed on that poll.
