I screen capped the controls from a YT vid. I'm glad they didn't switch over to the crappy ORC layout.

yeah, a while ago around the time it was first released. My friend bought it and I hung out at his place for a bit.

RE6 European Collector Edition revealed

And I have to say I'm glad Capcom Europe finally got something together for once, the RE5 collector edition we have had in Europe was an insult, especially as opposed to what the others got.

Quite frankly, ours is a bit expensive for what it features IMO

Seen this the other day, think it's actually pretty good this time considering we usually just get a steel book case if we're lucky. Leon jacket in place of the hoodie would've been cool though ;)

So I tried the RE 6 demo yesterday and I have to say October can't come quick enough. It's fantastic and has it all. The classic horror & RE feel with Leon's story and more action based with Chris & Jake. I've only tried Leon's so far but it really felt old school to me. There are sharp sounds and jump scares in there, shit myself at one part in a kitchen.

You can also switch the aiming controls to classic aswell as the laser sight aiming rather than the crosshairs I've seen everyone use so far. Hopefully Leon will have his new jacket longer than one chapter this time :)

I keep hearing bad things about the HUD, what d'ya think?

Also, had a look at demo vids and I absolutely love the whole presentation of the main menu and character select!
I'm surprised many people are saying controls are actually intuitive, I was afraid of the opposite actually.

I didn't mind the HUD to be honest but I've still to play the demo with Chris & Jake yet. Loved the whole main menu presentation & character select, great atmosphere to the game. Controls I liked too, very quick to jump into and you do get the choice of classic controls and laser sight aiming which I prefer.

I think so yeah, I kept the default which is the newer left & right trigger to aim and fire. I just changed the aiming to laser sight for myself as I prefer it.
