Well, I'll be damned.

Glad to see more people will be able to play these games.

Now I really regret buying Shenmue 2 last month.

To me though, if I ignore it being Capcom and its DLC shenanigans, its a great idea. The more hackers taken down (no matter the "cause") the better.

bah. Screw xbla and screw SoR3. The BKIII translation/hacks have spoiled me into never wanting to play SoR3 again.

I'm going to laugh SO hard if they're trying to emulate the 50Hz version of SOR3 like they did for SOR2.
Meanwhile, they've been willing to release an official translation of Monster World IV.

I suppose the same will not happen to SOR3.

Yeah they play similar to RE...well, the older RE games before they decided to turn RE into a B-action flick. *Runs away from the RE fans on this forum*

SH relies on psychological horror and hardly ever does any jump scares like the RE series does, just a lot of mindfucking going on.

The games have a rather deep plot with lots of symbolism spread all around. They focus on puzzles big time, you might be using a couple walkthroughs for some of these depending on what Puzzle difficulty you put it on (Piano puzzle from SH1 comes to mind).

The first three are the best but the series has been lacking as of late. I haven't tried it out yet, but I have heard that the newest one, Downpour, is the best SH in a long time. That might be one to check out. SH2 is a lot of people's favorite game in the series, I personally like SH1 the most. But the first three games are good to check out.

Keep in mind that Shattered Memories is VERY different from the rest of the games and plays nothing like the rest of the series.
