New Members Unable to Register?

I got contacted by someone on YouTube by someone to be the middle-woman for their mod and post it up.
Besides me not playing demos (right now anyway?) I've got my own stuff in the works anyway.

Could registration be temporarily re-activated, and then shut down the first moment a nub cries 'I CAN HAZ V5 LINK PLZ?!'?
I'm assuming it was shut down for that reason... v5's been out for a while now so the nub-rush shouldn't be as violent.

...or is it just cleverly hidden?

Registrations have been closed because there was a lot of problems with bots in the past months.
I've also been contacted by someone who wanted to join the forum to get involved in the SORmaker community and I assured him (or her) that registrations will be re-opened.

There isn't even a registration button on the main page... not the 'validation link'... the actual 'registration' button for the forum is apparently not there.

Or I had a coincidental loading error on the page when I logged out to look for it.

Yeah, I also got a dude who contacted me through Cyberfanatix and even sent me the demo of his new mod. I really don't want that this registration lock it's pushing away new talented people to join or even try to make mods... otherwise, the life of SORmaker will be seriously reduced.

So please, with sugar on top, get the registration back, plz.

I came here when it was closed the first time round. It was horrible having to wait 8 months to get signed up.
