I'm very happy about all of the positive feedback on the Adam's Story mod :D

As for SoR3, I love it. It couldn't be any better. :)

I've played both routes and the bonus MOD!
All of your MODs are great quality!
I had imagined Adam's fight many times, so I'm glad that I can play actually :D

I'm sorry to gripe but I have say a few of things.

1. Whose bright idea was it for the enemies to take your items, especially your food?

2.. I'm pretty sure the energy that Zan developed isn't called Laxine but Rakushin. I guess its kind of irrelevant

3. In stage 3 with the mine cart thing it says you can uses the edges to avoid it. That does not work. If you were to do that you will get mowed down time and time again.

This version is as hard as the original US version is. Their is no warning that the cart is coming for you it just happens and so quickly as well. I guess my noobness is kicking in.

Actually it's ラクシン, which is exactly how you spell Laxine & Rakushin (& Lakushin) in Japanese.
Rakushin/Lakushin are the exact transliterations, and therefore wrong (and you've probably been pronouncing it wrong... the 'u' is silent).
Laxine is the actual word for use in languages that use Roman letters (eg: English), and therefore correct.

Bottom and top edges. I admit that due to character limits and not wanting a dialogue box obscuring the view for too long I worded it a bit cryptically.
However... if you were to read the info in the first post... I even underlined it... just stick to the very top and bottom edges of the scroller. You can usually spot an enemy doing this at least once sometimes.
Hell, I even mentioned that it's not possible to do rumble warnings, and also... if you do not read the important info... it is your own fault. :mrgreen:

I just had to say how very very annoying that is. It would be smart for me not to open those trashcans and items that contain food, but I do it anyway. Every time. I never learn. However... There's always the possibility that you won't make it to that chicken in time if it's not there available for immediate grabbing.

They just didn't do it nearly as often as in V5... V5 made it a more significant threat. XD

I personally like the new dimension it adds to the difficulty. Not only am I trying to stay alive, but I have to defend the food, lol.

It would not matter any I think on very hard and mania enemies particuly the donovan's, galsias's and the soo's all seem to go for the breakables and pick up the item straight away it does suck but not much you can do about it. What is worst is I have had the ninjas and the kick boxers pick it up when I was fighting those lot at the same time.

I played this mod yesterday and his is excellent imo, one of the best Sormaker mod I've played until now! :mrgreen:

10/10

And the Adam's mini-story is pretty fun and intersting, for a mini-mmod i give 10/10 for the intresting story mode and pretty fun stages :wink:
Thank you so much Bombergames for this piece of art, i will never forget this forum, this game and the sormaker mods.

That day I was able to download ONLY the Adam's Story sub-mod cuz the proxy in the starbucks connection it's been a cunt and took me ages and barely was able to get it.

Anyways, I loved it! :D A couple of tidbits, though.

Perhaps my only concern it's the fact that the background of the first stage (the SOR1 view of the bay) looks terribly pixelated and really looks with lower quality. what I could recommend it's to use the SOR2 of stage 2-1. That has good enough size and has the water effect as well. I think it won't have resizing effects.

Also I dislike that mix of Keep the Groovin' (I never liked that v4 remix) so I fied it in my mod putting the v5 one. :P

Besides that, the mini-mod it's simply marvelous! I am a Mania player and forgot that SOR3 Mania is like for real maniacs, but as I was playing with Max, those overdosed punks didn't stand a change with the power of my Atomic Drops, I'm sure most of those punks went home with their asses upside down, lol.

Now downloading the main body mod.

Yeah I was expecting not everybody would prefer my choice of 1-1 backdrop... but I wanted something old school. Plus, the animation on that one is calm, while the SoR2 bridge's backdrop flashes like a party IIRC.
