'Kay. Fair warning though, I'm no expert at any of the games. It's not like I've ever pulled off a 1CC or a no deaths on Mania. I just like using underrated characters. =3

Edit: Okay, I just noticed that Elle is awesome during the motorcycle/jetski levels. Unlike pretty much everyone else, her back attack where she whips behind her is super fast to the point where you can safely hit enemies over and over with it if they're behind you. I even found it more useful than ramming enemies from behind is.

You know what? Call me an idiot, but I was always playing with the pause delay in COMBINED but lately decided to try it with SOR3 style and oh my god, game gets lot easier with it... well, at least by using Rudra i found it lot easier. It's not easy no manage, though cuz the game feels extremely faster and you need to react a lot quicker, pretty much SOR3 mode will keep you lot busier than any other pause delay mode.

This. For the most part i forgot about all the different options you can have so i've always played with combined. But i tried SOR3 a few days ago and Rudra's just wicked fast now. I suppose it's ok for something different but i've decided to go back to combined.

I used to use the Remake pause delay; the longest I could handle. Since I grew up on SoR3 (and played SoR1 on a friend's computer before that) I never got in to the massive pauses of the second game... I love being able to zip around the screen doing everything as fast as possible.

By the way, I noticed there's no Character Discussion thread on Elle. I've only used her once, so it can't be me, but I'm sure there's an Elle fan out there who'd like to make one for her...

Yeah, because they encourage you to air recovery. Failed to comply the recovery you get a huge chunk of damage.

I rarely happened to be slammed through it, however, sometimes the timing gets screwed if they happen to throw you to other enemies and the hit impacts with them tend to break the timing thus it's easier to be slammed from the throw (lol, sometimes the up + mashing C helps out a bit to avoid the slam).

I think also Mona & Lisa's throw also does huge damage as well. Confirm me that too, please?

Couldn't find a Blaze discussion thread... I used to Blaze all the time in the first game and she kept taking favorite in the third game, too.
Didn't play the second one much, but I know she's good there, too.

So anyway, unless there's someone willing to cry out that they love Blaze moar and make the thread instead, should I put a thread together?

I think Blaze is one of the most playable chars in SorR, you can improve your skill a lot if you trained to play with her.

Anyway, Blaze is never ignored by people but she is also a bit lack of focusing, it would be nice if there's a discussion thread for her.

Be my guest, hon. Someone asked me to do so but recently been more focused in the mod world that I neglected the gameplay issues.

I played as SOR1 Blaze all the time because her attack was similar to Shiva's.

IMO, I find her to be broken in some places.
