Finally, I've got a test run of Stage 7... it's a bit nuts but this is the best I can do with the SoRMaker... XD

Sorry, forgot to switch the 16-Bit version of the music back in before recording. XD

Well, the Violent Breathing version you used doesn't bother me at all (my favorite). But yeah, for consistency, wouldn't be bad to use the OG 16-bit version in the final release.

I'm glad you managed to get a perfect elevator going on. Shame doesn't do stops, though but as it is it's nice enough. Seems my tip of using different scenes as "stops" worked well for you, though. :)

I'm glad you remember that pits in "boss" matches tend to be fucking glitchy and lock the game so the last scene split was good enough.

If you keep on like this I'll ask you to marry me. :P Good job.

Looking good :) . You know that you can clean the overlap effect of the front facade of the elevator by splitting it into a few different layers (2 or 3) :?: . So if you're thrown over the rail from the bottom of the screen, when you pass through the top half of the facade you'll appear in front of it.
The box said "Requires Windows 95 or better." I can't understand why it won't work on my Linux computer.

Oh yeah, please, put your front layer on -240, please. So doesn't show up in the Stage Clear screen.

As I suggested make 2 routes for the stage 8 [ one for the bad ending and other for the good ending ] because unfortunately the yes/no question cannot be made in sormaker i think.

All x=-250 layers are now x=-240, I just hadn't tested if I could walk all the way to the bottom of Stage 1 or 3 without going in front of the layers until now, so I left everything at -250.

Good idea, it's been split in to 3.
Did a quick test throwing everyone off in Easy mode and it works pretty well.

P.S. This post is massively delayed because I've been getting internet errors all day.

I've actually finished Stage 8 now, with the choice and all... just need to do the Mr X cutscenes, and put together an ending.

Double posting for justice.

I made the Sun rise, and finally unveil the Mr. X choice solution I had all along.
Neo Metal Shadow was pretty close.

By the way, the pipe in the choice has been lowered since I made that recording.

Feedback on Mr X's dialogue is welcome, if you have anything better I might use it. =P

I like the dialogue, It fits rather well i think.

So, are you having a "bad end"?...because it ain't possible with SoRMaker if you are following SOR1 to the letter.

The ending is a separate .wmv, since SoRMaker won't do proper endings and I'm not gonna have Stage 8 end on a different stage and cut out one of the other stage ends, that'd be... urgh... XD

So... if I record Axel, Blaze, and Adam's takeover endings I could stick those in to their own .wmv files for a separate download for people who really care enough to want those endings. o.o
