Yes and change it to SOR2 Blaze. BK2 Blaze replaces the regular one.

2. regarding the robo x/self destructing building, is there anyway to stop the countdown?
3.is there a place i can find a map or something that shows all the possible routes & where they lead to?

I'll answer the first couple. I have no idea about the cheats and I think the player may learn himself about the stage 8


1 - Those are the special attacks you can perform using the X buttom. They are the same as the star moves, so this is actually a way of performing it when you don't have stars. If you don't have stars, then you have to work the motions for it. It's also a way of selecting what move you want when you have some stars but want to make a lower star move.
2 - You can find the motions at the end of the character profiles, when you buy it at the shop. Each profile show the respective character X moves.

*Edit: About the stage 8, if you want to know if you cleared all routes, you should buy stage selection at the shop, because the levels you haven't made yet will not be selectable at the list (they will be listed though).
If you want to know if you unlocked all endings: there's 8 endings, wich can be displayed/listed at the movie theatre.

I've read all (36 pages at the moment) of this thread and no one has asked this question. Being an avid fan since it first came out (I'm 31) I feel this game has to be 100% completed to make me feel that the streets are safe. Now in vs Mode you can choose which stage to fight on in which are unlocked by some method. My question is what is this method, in terms how do you unlock the vs stages?

Example: SoR2 - Downtown (has pic) (Locked)

Now see here's the kicker, when a pic is displayed it basically means you've been there. Now my whole thing is that I've removed my save data and started new. Ran through SoR1 route on easy, then special attack to make me an easy target to kill come stage 2. Didn't continue and Game Over........go back to vs Mode, GREAT! It's unlocked. Oddly enough for the mentioned example I have used every route in it possible. Note: Bar 1st floor, 2nd floor are locked as well, but not when you exit to the rooftops I have that stage ^_^ It just strikes me as odd that I would be missing something. This is what I've tried so far:

All Characters
All Difficulties
Complete stage(s) without dying
No weapons used

If anyone can shed some light on this I would be very pleased.

can't unlock scenes in versus

You may have played those scenes already, so you can choose them in arcade mode.

But they cannot be played in versus mode because of hazards.

I don't think I'd wanna fight my opponent while...

And you know this to be certain? BTW stage 1-2 has no oncoming traffic.

No, but I'd rather play safe than sorry anyways.

Also, I forgot about fighting on top of a train.

But if you want a confirmed answer, I'd suggest playing on a new game and unlocking the stage select after your first playthrough. Then compare it to the versus.

Started anew and same results, funny how everything on the list posted above are all the stages I can't unlock in vs mode. Is there a way to find out from bomberlink himself? Just a simple yes or no will do at this point.

Hi new to the forum I have a question/tech problem with SoRR

I recently got a MadCatz Street Fighter IV controller and thought this would be great for SoRR but for some odd reason the program doesn't recognize the LT and RT buttons. The RT button not being recognized is impeding me the most from playing SoRR with a nice 6 button controller.

So I am wondering is there a way to make it recognize those buttons or am I screwed on playing this game with a 6 button controller?

You can use Joytokey to map the buttons to keyboard keys, then it should work no problem.

I'm still not clear how to get the remaining endings. I'm missing 1, 5, and 8. I checked *** and its seems for 1 you must have 2 players and for 8 you must clear it on Mania. can some one confirm this? Also the routes need would be good, the chart I saw was a little confusing. Thanks!

Ending 1:
Yes you will need 2 players and you need to finish the game on SOR1 Route. If you are only playing by yourself, then I would suggest to ring in the 2nd player while fighting Onihame and Yasha in SOR1 Stage 8's long hallway. When you enter Mr. X's lair and given the choice to choose between joining the syndicate or not, have one player choose Yes and the other player choose No. Then proceed to kill off the other player and then defeat Mr. X to get Ending 1.

Ending 5:
You will need to finish the game on the route that leads to Robo X. When you are trying to escape from the building, all you need to do is find the key to go down to the lower level and fight Shiva. You CANNOT disarm the bomb or else you will get Ending 6 instead. Defeat Shiva before time runs out and you will be given Ending 5.

Ending 8:
You need to complete the game on Mania AND not Alt + X out of the game, you must play and beat the game in one sitting. It doesn't matter what route you take, you will still get Ending 8 if you play on mania and not Alt + X.

Take a look at this topic when you are trying to get Ending 5. It will make getting Ending 5 A LOT easier since all of the rooms are randomized.
