I remember a few people who mentioned that they were going to try rebuilding the original standalone games with SoRMaker, but I've never heard anything about those ideas since.
In addition, there just don't seem to be any stage resources out there of the original levels (aside from a few exceptions to the rule, but it's like no more than a stage or two per game).
So one day, I decided that for my first SoRMaker project I was going to put together Stage 1 from the first game. With all the flashing signs it was a bit of a chore, but eh... it may have been worth it. :3
Update
Got Stage 2 done, and in response to Chan I recorded it with 16 bit music.
Update 2
After some headaches animating the midground, I finished Stage 3.
Update 3
I fixed the transparency issues above the Stage 1 shutters.
Scaled the Stage 2 background.
Last but not least, Stage 4 is done!
Update 4
Replaced Stage 3's Donovan with an Aggressive Galsia placed right on top of a pipe.
Added wave ambience to Stage 3; three waves then silence in a 30 second loop.
Fixed all Y Signals who were misnamed Turtle, because I forgot there was a green one. XD
And here's Stage 5... I may have to tone down my demo difficulty, lol... my solo Blaze skills could use some work. XD
Update 5 - Not yet in Downloads
Stages 6 & 7 done. Stage 7 is just crazy...
Update 6
After making sure I don't go in front of foregrounds, I've moved them back from z=-250 to z=-240.
Now they won't get in the Stage Clear screen anymore. XD
Stage 7's barrier has been split for a better look when throwing people off.
Stage 8 is done - you can pick yes or no (and 2 players can fight to the death before the survivor makes that decision if you can't agree), now I've just got to put together the ending... it'll be a separate .wmv you can choose to play after you beat it (or whenever you please).
By the way, I've lowered the position of the pipe in the choice scene since recording. So you won't accidentally pick yes instead of picking it up, lol.
Here's the yes option...

Note that if you go in to the mod's folder, you can pick your soundtrack!
Just copy the oggs of your choice from the three folders: V5, 16-Bit, and some Alternates I threw together from the Ultimate Soundtrack.
Default is 16 bit.

Contains all graphics for all 5 stages, properly scaled for SoR Remake.
Please give feedback if you spot something up with the resources or demo, since I've never uploaded SoRMaker stuff before.
And of course, please give feedback if you have positive reviews, too. ~.o
Note: I've done a quick job at scaling this for difficulty and 2 players, but not exactly like in the original.
What I can guarantee is that if you play 2 Player Mania you will encounter all the same enemies as you would in 2 Player Hardest in the original.
...1 player easy might be too easy, I dunno, lol.
Don asked me what was in the resource kit... so I took some screens of the folders...
...these screens have also been updated, lol.
