I beat the game in mania mode starting as Max and SOR 2 Skate/Sammy and i begin in the SORR route [ bloody knife ], then i changed to the alternate SOR 2 route in the Mr.X's island [ hidden jungle and waterfall ]

In the first continue [ SOR 1twins in the waterfall ] the CPU choose Ash, in the second continue [ Mr.X elevator ] the CPU choose Ash too, but he helped a lot, his special is very useful to me and thanks for this i defeat Mr.X.

Odd I thought I posted in here. Anyway I beat mania with max taking the sor2 to sor1 route. Really surprised at how easy it was compared to sor2 enemies don't feel as aggressive which could be the reason.

Did it with Rudra on the SoR1 route. Took weeks.

Finally got around to trying Mania solo with default lives. I beat it with Max (barely), going the SOR3->Docks->Waterfall route. It was closer than it should have been due to losing 3 lives to the pit in the waterfall route.

Went after Mania with a vengeance after only playing the lower difficulties until now. Smacked it down in short order with Rudra and CPU Max/Max/SOR1 Blaze. Getting Max again on the CPU's first continue probably helped--CPU was still alive when we finished. Went with the SOR2 route exclusively, since that's what I played a zillion times until I could beat Mania back in the console days!! I think it's the only "pure" route in the game.

Damn, we finished the mania mode of all possible way in SORR with my friend, we play it all the time we see each other ! Shiva, Rudra, Mr. X, Max and Axel are our favorite characters !

We have juste been loving SOR for years and years and are so glad this SORR exists, it is so awsome !

I quit if I can't finish without using a continue

Still hadn't the pleasure of playing with a friend yet, but I got a few friends wich I used to play SoR games on GENS (still have my Mega Drive III with two 6 button joystick, but no SoR cartridges). I'll eventually call them.

With my friend, before I discovered the SORR game, it was on SOR2 on emulator that we played in mania mode, and the same : NO CONTINUE

So good time spent thanks to those games

I beat this game on mania again, this time with Max and SOR 2 Skate/Sammy [ cpu ] in SOR 2-SOR 1 route, this time i think this less hard then before.

Max and SOR 2 Skate/Sammy are a excelent for beat this game on mania mode =P

I played the hell out of this when it came out and put up quite a few videos of beating mania. These days, my goal is to beat mania starting with 0 lives. I've only managed to do it with Mr. X so far. I've tried many times with Rudra and Blaze1, but it's so easy to screw up a 0 lives run.

V5 Mania is tame.
It can be beaten controlling 2 Blazes at once without going under the starting lives, even if you say YES to Mr. X and have to do Stages 6-8 all over again.

I'm not bragging. <_< >_>

It's 2 Blazes controlled by the same person playing V5 on Mania. Was it that hard to tell?
