Hello everyone, i'm new here! I love SORR and I've beaten everything in this game and unlocked all hidden content. My only frustration is the Survival quest, my questions are...
Is there an end to Survival mode?
What is the highest rank you can get? Is it really S? Or is there SS, SSS or something?
I have searched Youtube and there was only one person who could get S rank in all 4 stages and uploaded the videos! The first stage is insanely hard, I probably would beat other stages with S rank if I tried harder but there is no way I can beat the first one (SoR2 stage) it's so evil :twisted:

Please share your thoughts about this mode with me. I want to know, am I the only one who couldn't achieve that even though I already beaten Mania so many times?

XLHGladiator is really a strong player and with a lot of humor. He made very good used of vertical rolling to escape from being crowded.

The only way you can last longer in survival, other than practice, is cheating. But it's hard to figure out how to lock life in this game.

I would never cheat! I'd rather keep my well deserved "A" ranks instead

Still didn't get any answer for my other question though, which is: Is "S" the highest rank you can get? Or is there an end to this mode like in boss rush mode?
Well I hope someday it gets easier for me, also, it would be great if they make more Survival mode stages in other locations such as the elevators or factories.

I couldn't find a Rudra A-Rank victory on the Tubes, so when I beat Round 1 I decided to upload one of my better re-attempts at S-Rank.
Of course I failed to hit S-Rank, but I'll probably keep trying... when Hell freezes over, I'll make it, you watch!

Note that since I empathised so much with XLHGladiator I thought I'd share the nerdrage I was feeling throughout the video in the same way with little bits of text... though I don't believe in censoring letters in what I type. ^.^

Right now did a run on Survival with Rudra. SOR2 path can't go beyond B (got anal gangbanged by those damn fucking Troll Ninjas), SOR1 got A but VERY close to go to the S. SOR3 got A as well and due of a mistake from my side, I misstep and got run by a wagon but was doing quite fine. The SORR path in snow it's a fucking tough cookie and can't get past B either! Especially when the fucking Robo X shows up!

Then I died while trying to figure out why this had to happen.

I would recommend disabling warnings, notifications, and EVERYTHING that could get in the way if anyone intends to use SnagIt... otherwise there will be intense rage. >_>

I doubt I could've beat it with Bear on the scene (yep, he shows up if you get the worst damn luck), but I wanted to keep trying anyway... ;A;

...I guess this is what happens when you go for Round 1 first.

SOR3 Pause delay is pretty much a requirement to even give you 1% of a chance at Round 1 (well you don't even get 1% ;_; , but you know what I mean)... I used to be Remake all the way, but for Round 1, I had no choice but to convert, and I've stuck with it since to minimize the rage from trying to get these S-Ranks.
Besides, it's actually not the pause delay that made Round 2 easy. It's the fact I knew how to deal with the enemies.
Like I say in the video... as long as you don't approach a whip or a kicker directly, you're fine. Otherwise, like on my first few attempts, pause delay won't save your face from getting flying kicked in to oblivion.

Anyway, Round 3 done... derpish because I'd just woken up, and wasn't actually focused on the enemies, but that just shows that most good players should be able to get an S-Rank in it...

Oh my GOD!!!!!!! FINALLY :lol:

I took a snap photo of my desktop.
I had to play Round 1 for about millions of times, but I got lucky at some point where fat dudes dropped me some food.

I can say, that this is the greatest achievement I've ever done in my entire gaming life :mrgreen:

I really really really hope Bombergames make more downloadable survival stages, if that is possible, PLZZZZ?

AWESOME work

I really enjoy your videos. I am glad there are others who try to obtain the S rank at every stage. That's what hardcore SOR fans do :wink:

Oh and by the way, I have to thank you for your round 1 video. I never thought it would be much more easier with Rudra! Those kickboxers kicked my ass when I was trying it with Shiva :roll:

I've been using the same option too. I think you can tell that XLHGladiator never used it to get those S ranks but still, it doesn't make you a horrible player if you used the SOR3 pause delay-option, it's not a cheat, it's a simple option change, it doesn't help that much anyway. Just like CajNatalie already said, it's not like it SHOULD guarantee you a S rank. You have to work hard to get it.

Rudra's chakra punch is pretty good at breaking blocks.
...it's pretty good at everything... but it does leave her open to sneak attacks from behind and can send her right in to the middle of a dogpile. =/

I'm stuck on Round 4 now... enough for today. Almost hit A-Rank, but it'll take time to get used to all these cheapasses everywhere. It's like Round 1 all over again, but in a different form and it doesn't seem as unfair... XD
