Did the same but started by SoR3 route. I'm too lazy to count what moves gives more points, but my main strategy into mobs is throwing. I throw better with Blaze, though.

I did sor2 plain route doing only throw moves and got 1380k, but I used infinite lives. I just wanted to see how disparate score can be when you throw a lot.

In SoR1 stage 8 select joining Mr.X's organization and fall into the trap will be given a chance to repeat the last 3 stages, that will give a lot of score.

About time! I finally pwned Mania. Used Rudra and used Max as partner. I guess after trying out different partners I found Max it's the best to deal in Mania due of his insane damage input.

Went by the SOR2 route detouring by the waterfalls (that's my easiest and favorite route).

I finally beat Mania solo, playing with Max on SoR2 Route, forking to Sor1 level 4, then back on SoR2 boat. I did not need my last credit. Damn, the last levels were hard, especially the elevator in lvl 7 and Abadede and Mr. X in lvl 8. But I did it ! Hurray ! :D

By "beat Mania", you mean with continues and cpu partners, or solo 1cc?

Since there are no ninjas, rockets/jets, bikes/jetskis, I went with the pure SoR1 route.

I got Ending 8 on my second no-cheat attempt at Mania.
Made it all the way to Stage 8 with SoR1 Axel, and then switched to Rudra so I could use Ninjutsu as a panic button.
CPU started as SoR1 Blaze, then it switched to Max, and Max again. Miraculously the CPU survived with me once Mr. X was defeated. o.o

Round 4 is harder than Round 1 for Blaze, and I did it, too!!!

SoR3 as close as possible as to how it should've been: Complete Edition

I just got 140,850 points with Mr. X solo on mania mode with one credit and no cheats!! I took the SOR2 route then switched over to the SOR1 route then restarted level 6 again to get more points. Pretty difficult I'd say.

I beat the game several times now on "Mania" mode with Max & Shiva. Very few cheats used (unlimited ammo, weapons btween stages, and/or 2 bosses @ 1 time). :wink:

I normally play wit' Axel, but Max & Shiva are by far the best team in when it comes to power & technique. Although Max speed is very limited his power makes up for it. Shiva can back him up in speed. Max's "power bomb" is rediculous. I abuse it every chance I get. :lol:

It took like 30 attempts to do, but I beat Mania for the first time a few days ago using Roo on the SoR2 Route (no CPU helper). Beat it using the default stock of lives too. I recorded the run but I discovered afterwards that I'd accidentally used an old version of a codec to record with that screwed up the video's colors. FFffffffffffffuuuu-

I managed to get another run of Mania SoR2 route as Roo recorded properly the next day, but it was a very close call as I messed up badly and lost a ridiculous number of lives in Stage 7 to the group of whip ladies and ninjas. ;_;
What do you mean, Roo can't solo Mania? Boing! Booooooooing! ...Leer.
