Thankfully, I'm a patient and adventurous man.

Now go get me a bandage for Mr. X!

How considerate!

I just had to source an image 'on the go' which displayed OK here, but hadn't considered beyond that - duly noted therefore - though to be fair I rarely link to images regardless (just as bloody well, maybe? :P )

From what I can gather the text itself is just as worthy if not moreso and makes some interesting, I'd say valid, points re: the direction of the SoR3 soundtrack.

Pretty much, he compared the SOR3 soundtrack to the wine, you appreciate it more with time.

This is true, an excellent comparison. I still hate Fuze though. If I could do a rom hack and replace it with Expander I so would.

That's what I would call "Action Music".

Nice to see someone who agrees with me. I however am going to post my own opinion here about the copyright issue. After 8 years of development why is it that Bomberlink removes the download link? Prior to the release it was mentioned that Bombergames got permission from Sega to develop SORR. Why not contact Sega's legal department again(in both Europe and America). I've sure they'd be able to help you out(unless they were the ones who told you to pull the game). The download section says that the Downloads are disabled untill futher notice, but judging from the lack of updates i'm not sure how far he's gotten or if he's made progress at all.

Even if Sega never gives in to allowing the game back on the forums freedom isn't alway going to be free. Those that refuse to take risks are no stronger then the law as the law can only influence you when it comes to the mind. Even if he got sued or arrested for posting it back up, giving in teaches society nothing. If I was in Bomberlinks position i'd take a stand and post the link anyway. I wouldn't care if they'd lock me up. I think a moral message of sacrifice is worth my own life. It's not about the game. It's about standing up for yourself.

PS:Sorry about the above sentence being over-the-top. It's really a message to Bomberlink. I know he has an e-mail address, but I thought i'd post my view so everyone can make their judgement. And yes I exspect to be backlashed aswell.

Well, I don't even know which Sega Bomberlink contacted, but maybe would be worth a try at Sega from Japan.
I heard that some fan game was not allowed by their american representative, but the guys who made it got permission from Japan, who developed the game.

A good place to start. I honestly don't see the reason to give into Segas demands. I can't imagin the police knocking on my door if I tried to same thing. Even they along with the court would find such a case irelevent. All this copyright issue is causing is creating a streisand effect.

I for one would like Bomberlink not in any trouble with the law. The game is out, all over the internet. We have it. The games glitches aren't any worse than those in SoR1-3 on the genesis really, so I'm fine without the patch. Bomberlink's a great guy, and deserves a lot for giving us this huge labor of love (as do the rest of the team), but jailtime/court isn't one of those things. I'd rather he didn't take a foolish risk for the sake of making a point, I mean this is a game not civil rights.

Sigh, I wish people would read carefully when Bomber posted bout this. Bomber said that he contacted Sega with regards to his intentions to develop the game, with details etc. Nowhere did he state (I believe) that there was full permission/go ahead from Sega, just that they received notice about the game, were made aware of it ahead of time, and thusly they seemed to not mind.

But of course this franchise isn't Sonic, nor is this game from Sonic Retro, nor is it a slapped together shitty Beats of Rage modification, so the cord was unplugged.
