Or his partner could have been Gief, if they played differently enough. That would have been a cool matchup, Haggar and Gief v Marduk and King. But, Alex would be more suited to go up against King.

Third. Even if it is a non-canon game it can still IMPLY canon, kind of like how alex's CFE ending implies that jessica is alive and doing well and carlos still bums it up in haggars place.

So, I may have found one of those shreds of gold that occasionally happens in MUGEN. An SF1 remake, that actually makes the game playable! lol all jokes aside, I'll be testing this out soon, it'll be interesting to have the rest of the cast as playable chars. Aside from Adon, Sagat, Birdie, Eagle, Ryu and Ken they haven't really had any time to shine.

Edit: pretty cool remake. theres a few cool easter eggs for us capcom fans, but I thing the coolest thing in this game has to be the endings, they put a bit of time into them, and they aren't the typical one frame + text endings. I've only beaten it with Adon, but from what I can tell, the game is pretty true to the SF series storywise.

Is the same remake made a while back? looks like a newer one but iirc the one I remember had cody as an "unlockable" though I found him without unlocking him lol. This is pretty cool, would be awesome to see an alpha styled remake of the game. I guess I'll check this one out again I haven't been into mugen for a good while.

I assume so, Cody's not really an unlockable though, just not in plain sight.
