Well, just take your savegame, put .bak after the extension. Then create another folder in the palletes folder that says storage and put your palletes there. After that, put the savegames and pallete folders from my mod in the respective directories. That should help you keep your files. ;)

When you're done using my mod, feel free to delete my mod's files and put your's back in.

Eheh, awright then, I'll do that. Wouldn't want too many spoilers anyway ;) Quite an ingenious way to preserve unique elements of your mod, by the way. I think I'll have to do something like that.

ANNOYING QUESTION: I hear that you need a separate palette editor application to edit enemy palettes and such. Anyone willing to share info/downloads? Sorry, I haven't been here in a loooong time.
"No" Axel shouted. "I must defeat the boss!

And Blaze said "No Axel, you are the boss."

And then Axel was great.

BAD END

You unlock the pallete editor in the Shop.

Well, it's not the final version, it's the final demo. =P And yes, I did add you. Partially because you helped with those sky sprites and also because you made the cutscene maker. ;)

I didn't even remember that I helped you a little with that sky

The truth is that I haven't played the final demo, I'm waiting for the final version. I thought that that demo wasn't a full version :P

No, it's a full eight stages plus ending. I just have some more stages I'm adding in the final version, balancing out enemies, Making Mania mode on a level similar to SOR 2 (SORR's maingame's mania's too easy.), adding more cutscenes to places that need them, and polishing old stages to look better *cough*STAGE 4*cough*.

Yeah. I toned down the difficulty of that stage a lot in the final demo. It's managable but could use some eye candy as it's long and needs something pretty to look at. Stage 5 is just as long but looks nice and is pretty well balanced.

Probably after the final release, I'm going to periodically update the mod to fix bugs, polish things that I didn't get around to polishing and just generally tidying up the mod. Streets of Rage Online gave the final demo of my mod 5 out of 5 Stars and I was told I deserve it. So, hopefully the final version of the mod won't have many problems. I'm having problems with the Airship Stage Scene 1's collision and it's driving me up the wall. Stupid yellow platform bugs....

They're not bugs, do I have to remind you that yellow was only and specifically developped for the SOR1 elevator scene and thus obviously produces glitchy situations when tryin to make uses of it that were not planned at all. If I knew people would be so whining about it, I wouldn't have use it in my mod and keep it a secret. Yellow is not necessary to make a good mod, it is only an optionnal thing.

Also keep in mind SORmaker has only been out for two months so claiming everywhere that you produced the best mod ever while others are bad is immature,I know you're very excited and happy about your work but trust me that people will get tired of this if you keep this up.

I'm an administrator. I'm not in charge of running the site though. In fact, Matt Drury does the ratings of the mods himself. Though, I think Matt needs to kind of find another person to rate the mods along side him, because there were some decent mods that only got like two or three stars and there were other mods that were probably less than that. I'll see if I can get the community over there involved in doing a rating for the mods rather than just Matt. That way there's no mistakes.

@iceweb: lol. I never said my mod was the best, but it's definitely one of the best currently. (may change in the future. You never know.) The feed back is pointing to it as well. And sorry if I sound like douche, but I was just excited my Mod got five stars on Streets of Rage Online. Though I do think my mod doesn't quite deserve that extra star just yet. It's still only about 4/5 in my book as there was quite a lot of crap that needed to be fixed up.

I will admit my feedback is rather harsh on some peoples' threads, but it's just my inner critique and I apologize for that. Also, yeah I know the yellow collision color was only meant for the SOR 1 elevator level. I was just trying to figure out a way to make the thing work in the stage. I might just remove it though seeing as it's causing more problems each time I try to fix it. Besides, I probably don't really need it. =P

Not in a while I'm afraid. My apologies for lack of progress, I've just been taking a break from SORR and SORMaker for a while. Kind of letting the other mods soak in some. I think I might be starting the project up again soon. Dunno how soon, but I want to get back to it eventually. The final version's probably gonna have more than one version. I'm probably gonna focus on newer versions having better enemy balance, and fixing level designs and adding new levels where needed.

I'm having issues with the Airship stage, so rather than dropping it, I may just save it for a later version of the final. That way I can work on it some more as needed.

The effect of rain at stage 1 is cool.
