I'm just asking if the CPU partner will always choose yes, no or if it's randomized. Duh, winning!

I think you misunderstood him (or maybe I'm misunderstanding you). He's just saying the CPU partner will wait and pick whichever option you do, making that ending impossible with a CPU partner. You'll have to spawn a second player before you enter Mr. X's room if you want to get that ending.

Yes, this is exactly the answer I was looking for. Thanks! :D

That's a bit of a pity, actually. Also: If you both chose "yes", then you will just end up in the factory again instead of the cool snow level we had in Version 4. So there's not much of an incentive left to chose that option in Solo Mode/with CPU partner.

Yeah I miss the snow stage. I was hoping it would still make it in. :(

I never played that stage, saw it on Youtube though. What happens? Mr. X gets ahold of Aladdin's lamp and banishes you to the ends of the earth? How do you end the game from there?

For whatever it’s worth, that stage is an option in survival mode.

It seems like you would go there if you had the choice of choosing yes (but there wasn't one in V4). How you actually get there though, I don't know.

I think more time is needed for ending 6, you barely have enough time to check 2 rooms out of the possible 6, I still have yet to find one with a console in (like SOR3) so I havent even found the bomb to diffuse yet.

EDIT: nvm, got it

Ending 5 is the worst, barely time to pick 2 rooms, if u go into the room with the bomb u need to quit as u don't want to defuse the bomb, took me a few goes, its a mad rush down to the bottom floor then after u find the keycard!!! Shame the snow level didn't make it in, I thought on the helicopter stage possibly it could crash land in the snowy mountains and you'd go to another Mr. X base in the mountians and through a forest to get there, like a big castle!! At least that would be how I'd do it anyway! :)

I got Rudra's ending with the Robo X route path. Is that an alternate route to ending 7?

I struggled to get Rudra's ending despite finishing the SOR1's route several times with her. Later I found out that "no cheats enabled" also meant "no cheats enabled that grant no benefit whatsoever". (I had uncensored BK2 Blaze turned on at first) Was this an oversight or deliberate? It doesn't make much sense to punish players for playing with "cheats" that don't make the game easier in any way.

I can’t comment on Rudra, having not unlocked her, but I think some cheats don’t or even positively affect points: I completed the game with the cheats for no bodies disappearing and always fighting two bosses (which excepts Abadede, for some reason) and it reported a figure of CHEATS 0.

Having said that, using the stage select to enter the bonus room of Stage 8 gave me different results on the two occasions I tried it: the first time I escaped with my sneakily gotten gains, but the second time I was penalised (by 10000, IIRC). What be’s goin’ on? Is the stage select classed as a cheat or not?

That's what threw me off. I got no deduction for cheats, yet the BK2 Blaze code seemed to block the Rudra ending.

Oh, sorry for my blatant misreading (basically rushed nonreading :P) of your post. I guess it is just a blanket ban on cheats as you suggested.
