Capcom : Evil Ryu was what Ryu could have turned into, luckily he overcame it during the Alpha series.

Kids : BUT I WANT MAH EVIL RYU TO PLAY ONLINE WITH!!! I'LL PAY!!!

Capcom : Money you say?..... EVIL RYU DLC COMING SOON!

Kids : SHUTUP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

*adults everywhere disconnect the moment they encounter an evil ryu player*

I don't even think Oni IS Akuma.

I'm thinking he's a reworking of Garuda from EX series.
