Has anyone managed an S as Roo in any of the four rounds yet? Best I've done so far was an A in Round 1, and that was getting really lucky with the enemies (almost no ninjas, plenty of kickboxers). Most people seem to rely on diagonal running and spamming jump kick or the basic blitz to sweep crowds, but Roo's 0 star blitz is pretty much the worst in the game, and his jump kick isn't much better (low damage, leg doesn't stay out the whole time). Even if I resort to super cheap tactics (abusing re-grabbing) things still don't go well and it takes forever to clear enemies.

Honestly, I'm stuck as far as strategies go (that and I'm a kusoplayer, lololol). For the enemies that cooperate you can just let them come to you and tail whip them but that gets messed up easily the moment a long range attacker shows up. :/

I wish I enjoyed Survival more but the randomness makes it impossible to plan a route or predict what's next, and I'm just not finding it all that fun...

I've gotten to the high 80k's several times. However, I keep taking little hits due to bad decisions and bite it before 90k . I quite love Roo in survival, gotta be fast paced!

I don't rely on Roo's blitzes, myself, to deal sustained damage, rather, I use Roo's tail to quickly snap an enemy in front of me (to interrupt them) and go in swinging. Yes, I use Roo's combo, a lot (with an end throw of course). I only use blitzes when the enemies start getting out of control, and you don't need a wall to do notable damage with Blitz 3.

I wish I could record a session, but I'm afraid I've only a crummy laptop at the moment that I'm sure couldn't handle playing while recording.

I'll upload a crappy A rank run and hopefully people can suggest something. I cheesed enemies a lot with regrabbing, although the SoR1 enemies seem more vulnerable than I previously though to crowdsurfing with his 3 star blitz; panicked near the end and got wiped shortly after a fat guy showed up. Getting to A rank is one thing, but it's the huge point gap between A and S I can't seem to close.

Yep, there it is. Didn't get any drops from fatties on this run either . Wish I could have recorded it to give a better idea, but alas, nothing but this old laptop.

Roo's jump is really more powerful than some give credit to. I do use SoR 1 jump, though, to take advantage of it. It has the longest range on any kick, thus, anti-air doesn't stand a chance with good technique. I didn't cheese very much with the tail poke and only when the opportunity to clear some kickboxers presented itself.

Final score was 108,340. It's too bad I was a second too late for the S-Rank caption.

Does anyone know what the highest scores ever are?

I managed to get 166,510 on Round 3 with Max today. I'm so pleased haha! (but I didn't record it...)

I still dip into survival mode quite a bit. I think I prefer it to the main game now since a good run of it only takes about 15 minutes of your time, whereas the main game will take at least an hour. Managed to get about 140k with Adam on round 4, thanks to the abundance of fatty food. I think that's the highest I've gotten in any survival.

I uploaded an S-rank round 1 with Adam. I've S-ranked rounds 2-4 also, but I guess I'm trying to see if I can make better videos out of them. Maybe I should give Adam a rest and go for Roo.

I don't play it very often (not a fan tbh) but I did get my first S rank yesterday, on the SoR1 round with Skate 2. (114k I believe, forgot to grab a screenie ><) Might be able to get there on SoR3/SoRR rounds but I dunno how I'm gonna manage the SoR2 round...waaay too much BS there.
