Custom names for enemies

I wonder if some of you edit names from your enemies. If so why not sharing some of the names you've edited yourself:


Barbon: T. Killer (pun for Tequila), Ron (Rum in Spanish), Whiz K. (Whiskey), Scottman (for Scotch).
Antonio: (used mostly Italian names) Giuseppe, Giancarlo, Marco, etc.
Haku-oh: (Besides of writing the correct name back, I put mostly Chinese names since the character looks more Chinese 5than Japanese), Xiao Long, Pai Mei, Lei Fei, Li Lien Jie (those are the Chinese name of some famous martial artist or characters like Bruce Lee or Jet Li, lol).
Yasha & Onihime: (went with some "famous" femme pairs), Nina & Anna, Vice & Mature, Juni & Juli, Jill & Claire, etc.

I put some more but I don't remember, I keep updating.

I put my friends names on them.


And I changed SoR2-Souther (jungle) to Southern, because this was his correct name (can someone tell me if this is right, I'm not that sure).

Only thing I've changed name-wise is changing all Abadede's names (except for Abadede) to U.Warrior. Ultimate warrior, lol.

And one of the Soozies named after a gem, Ruby. It was typoed as "rubby" so I fixed it.

That's it. I generally leave them alone otherwise.

Funny, I had the same idea for some of the names.

I called the Kung Fu dudes from SOR1 chinese names, like Lei-Fan, Lee-Jun Fan , Zheng, and so on.

I called the skimpy-dressed BK3 Electras porn star names: Sylvia, Jenna, Jasmine, and so on.

For the SOR2 Electras, I called them after famous singing divas: Yvonne, Whitney, Gloria, Billie...

For the not so skanky SOR3 Electras, I put flower names: Rose, Orchid, Lily, Daisy...

The "Ninjo" character, I changed the main name (Ninjo? Come on!) for Boulder, and since he strikes me as hindu-looking, I put hindu sounding names, Sanjay, Javesh, I even looked those on Google.

Other than that, I managed to put all of Guns N´ Roses members in there, each name going for a different punk. Same thing with "The Warriors", from the movie of same name. It´s quite fun.

If you haven't played the Streets of Rage Syndicate Story Mod yet, you really should. Lots of unique enemy names in there that I chose like for the Bio Android clones of Mr.X, I named them after buttons on a Six button MD controller.
Mr.A, Mr.B, Mr.C, Mr.Y, Mr.Z, Mr. Start, Mr. Mode. I also did one that was a reference to his default alternate name Mr. Big (which is a reference to the Euro SOR 1 manual calling Mr.X, Mr. Big on accident.) which I decided to do "Mr. Small". Sounds in appropriate but it wasn't supposed to be. XD

For Robo X I chose:
Dilluded X, Hyper X, Turbo X, Crazy X, Fake X, and Shadow of X

Neo X: Naval Guard, Lab Guard X, Super Neo X (unused in my mod so far), Robot Start (controller puns again lol.), Robot Mode (another controller pun but also makes sense.), Puppet Neos, and Shadow Neos.

I thought Souther's alternate names were all lame. So I chose to replace all of them with Zamza and Nail as references to his SOR 2 counterpart. (which are probably not the same guy.)

Ash got: Maxwell, Brock, and Prance as alternates. (Maxwell and Brock are references to Pokemon btw.)
I just made Antonio and SOR 1 Jack have they're name for everything because their other names were lame as well IMO.

Bongo got all of Big Ben's names as alternates. (note, Bongo and Big Ben are probably not the same guy. Same as SOR 3 Bongo's probably not the same guy as SOR 2 Big Ben despite similarities.)

Of course, the SOR 1 twins got blaze as an alternate name. lol.

I named all of the SOR1 enemies plus Abadede after their EGM names.

SOR2 Signals: Renamed D. Signal to O. Signal (Olive), Renamed B. Signal to C. Signal (Cyan), and N. Signal to B.Signal (Black). Added M. Signal (Magenta), Beacon, and Witherfang.

Goldies: Added Ketchum (Pokémon), Mitch, Locke, Plaza, and Ghetto. Ranaldo is named after Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth.

SOR2 Electras: Added Kim, after Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth.

Bartenders: Meet Girardot and Demuth (SoulCalibur II), Quentin (after Quentin Tarantino; I named one of the Boomerang Guys Tarantino, and if I ever get to do a mod I'll have them as paired bosses. )

Jack the Knife Nut: Added Pocky and Soba, keeping with the whole Japanese food thing. Also have Slicey and Zsasz.

SOR2 Jets: Added Ramjet, Doppler, and Acelight.

Kickboxers: Added Osprey, Mallard, and Cormorant. In a dummy level I made in SORMaker, I have one with 5 health named Pigeon.

The Bear Family: Added Asshole (couldn't resist), Junkface, Brother B(ear), Grandpa B. (that stage in Syndicate Story was priceless!), Kuma-Sama, Ursa Major, Mr. Noodle, and last but not least, Wanna B.

Abadede: El Gigante and U. Warrior were too easy. Big Boss, Solidus, Ocelot, and Snake are joining the party as well.

Ninjos: Upon hearing the name Ninjo, I thought other misspelled things would be good as well, so I replaced in the names Samurye, Shanobi, Moosashi. I also have Shiruba, after a character in a story my boyfriend is working on.

X robots: Added Rusty and Big Guy, Yo Momma, Metal, and R. Black. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEH!

Boomerang Guys: Added Antomega (vocalist of The Juliet Massacre, an Italian deathcore band), Sigfridsson (after David Sigfridsson of Hanni Kohl), Barnelli, Tarantino, and Schtauffen.

Hitmen: Have a Men In Black trio (J, K, and Zed), RUSH (Lee, Peart, and Lifeson), and the houses of Dune (Atreides, Harkonnen, Corrino)

Dr. Zero: Added Dr. Feelgood and Prof. Raine (after an old friend)

SOR3 Martial Arts Dudes: Added Touri (another one of my BF's characters), Lion, and Amphithere.

Galvices: Tried to aim for "classy" names with these guys. Have Isaac, Landon, Michel, Desmond, and Bergamot. Also have Thurston, after Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth.

Truckers: Added Big Daddy, Ace, Tolstoy, and Fast Eddie (admin of TVTropes).

SOR3 Donovans: Added Chris, Wesker, and Josh.

Mr. X: added The Boss, C. Norris, and Bomberlink.

SOR3 Electras: Added Jill, Sheva, and Excella, along with Hildegard and Siegrune (SoulCalibur IV)

Rockets: Added Booster, Scramjet, Fuel, and Warp.

Kangaroos and Clowns: Crispin has control of Roger and Sheila, Dauria has control of Magi and Alun, Joker presides over Ace and Spade, and Mappy gets Mewkie and Nyanko.

Zamzas: Added Talon, Kemono, and Rukodai (The fictional region where my boyfriend's stories are to take place)

Ash Clones: Added Fay, Marshall, Funktastic, Hotdog (whom I inserted into Prototype as a joke character, because his red and yellow palette reminded me of ketchup and mustard) and Major Paine (an all black Ash who's a miniboss in my test level.)

Neo.X: Added Robot Y and Mecha Z, along with The Tuss.

Yamatoo: Added Yuzo, Tagawa, Hayashi, and Ikodo.

Cody Clones: A bunch of silly names, like Moonstrife and Ravenscroft.

Onihime and Yasha: Swapped names so they'd be Mona and Lisa in-game.

Hockey Mask Killers: Mr. J, Niko, and Xanatos want to kill you.

Soozies: Added more gem-themed names like Saphira, Emerl, Citrine, and Tourmaline. Also added Olette, Ariel, Lisse and Canelle, after girls I've known.

SOR3 Signals: Added Holland (to complete Jools Holland), 3-Dog (Fallout 3), Acacia, and Strife.

Seekers: are The Bomb! They're also Annoying, and that new 817CH model is a real pain. Thankfully it doesn't take much to send them to the Scrapheap.
