Well, that's a very early build of v5, when the game still had several visuals from v4 (notice the bars in the background, all of them are v4 build) so that SOR2 Blaze cosplaying her SOR1 outfit it's also from v4.

I was one of the few to try out online mode. Despite Bomber's tireless work, as far as I know he couldn't get pass a desync problem that happened WAY too early in the gameplay. He did spend quite awhile on it/discussing the issue with fellow Fenix people, but as you well know, it wasn't finished.

If Bomber could, theoretically, finish it Sega killed any chance of it happening.

speaking of "little train" in BK3. Can you attack it in tunnelway in V5? Because you can in original.

Running away from SoR3 Electra is supposed to make her stand up immediately.
For some reason this doesn't seem to work in V5...

SoR3 Electras never annoyed me even with their high HP because I knew how to lure them out so I didn't waste time on them. The V5 ones only seem less annoying in that they don't hide off screen as much (and if they do you can still hit them), but are actually more annoying than their originals when you knock them down.

Other things from SoR3...
Axel's Dragon Smash makes the wrong sounds.
Blaze's sword blitz makes the wrong sounds (and it doesn't seem to lead in to grabbing someone - cancelling it; which is supposed to preserve the weapon's lifebar so you can spam it again and again similar to Axel's pipe blitz).
Goldie's kick is supposed to be with the YAAA! sound, not EEY!
The spinning weapon attacks used by ninja don't make the cool sound they're supposed to.
Blaze's Throw and Judo Slam have their damage values mixed up.
Blaze's 3 star does way more damage than it should (not that I'm complaining on this one, though, lol)
Blaze's restrained kick is supposed to be two hits - 4HP then 8HP, with the corresponding sounds (you know there's supposed to be a specific sound for each range of damage values in SoR3, right?)
And the list goes on

Hell, the amount of mistakes in the third game's implication bothers me to no end.
All these claims of getting all animations/sounds/damage just right... all these SoR2 fanboys who seem to be able to have every fucking palette every name every HP of every Mania enemy down to memory, but nobody tried finding someone who loved SoR3?
I had this whole damn game memorized when I was a teenager... I knew every damage value; even how many hits each Blitz did and what damage each hit did. How much damage each enemy did. The sounds everyone made when they did everything.
But because of these fucking 'exact' claims I didn't step forward. If someone had just admitted they were doing guesswork and instead asked for an SoR3 enthusiast I'd've stepped up to the task, worked through getting back my old memorisations and helped.

Round 4 is harder than Round 1 for Blaze, and I did it, too!!!

That's the thing, nobody that we know of loved SOR3 until now. That's why we always say that SOR3 didn't exist, lol! :P

And imagine, it's been 8 years of development and we never heard of anyone who really was in love of SOR3. Word.

I'm sure if you were around by that time, you'd have contributed in reinstall the SOR3 view. :P

The thing is, I was around... but I was lurking...
<_< >_>

I saw all these comments about how things were being done so exactly so I didn't feel any need to step up.
I didn't see anything anywhere about someone just admitting that the SoR3 damage needed help.

...I think I may have done one post somewhere mentioning my knowledge of the third game in passing, but it didn't seem to get any attention, lol.
Anyway, if someone's able to disassemble V5 and fix bugs and such (or if Bomber comes out of hiding), I'd gladly help out with correcting SoR3 stuff. Since I've been building up the SoR3 for V5 thing stuff has been coming back to me.

i really doubt it however i live in hope...
im a sor2 fanboy
1 was good but nowhere near as good as 2.... and i saw 3 in magazines and wanted it but i didnt get to play it until emulators came out. by then i was older and didnt think it was as good as sor2 (maybe if i played it when it 1st came out and was younger id have stronger feelings for it...

from a young age ive always wanted to edit sor2 level8a i love that stage the most out of all sor levels and wished it to be longer with more badguys.. thanks to v5 i was able to create my dream..

THEN thanks to you're mod i was able to play around with it and edit sor2 how i wanted it including adding in the longer version of level8a so thanks a lot =]

we all know many things are missing but the most upsetting was the gamegear and mastersystem levels and bad guys.. although i didnt really play those games i would have loved to play a remake and seen those badguys in v5.. but hey v5 is as close as we will get and im very very very happy with it...
too bad i seem to spend more time making mods than playing...[like the sims...]
my mods
1]School
2]wavewar
3]SOR lost levels
4]VR missions
#]canceled sor ultimate
5]Survival mod pack 1
6]Double dragon remake

You can complaint about SOR3 Storyline compared to SOR2,But SOR3 gameplay and physics is the best, more faster and a good update to SOR2 Engine.I love SOR3 in the series more than SOR2/SOR1,the game from which I started My SOR Journey,I remember spending countless money on this game on Arcade Shops, plus my first ever cartridge on my Genesis.
In case of Version V5,SOR2 Fanboys are so lucky who get exact enemy sounds and Stages like in SOR2,On SOR1 enemies voices and AI,I will not complaint coz they are completely remastered enemies to match the SOR2/SOR3 enemy standards.
But why the hell is voices of SOR3 enemies and characters are fucked up(using SOR2 or wrong sounds),lol even the SOR3 route is not straight-forward complete in the game like SOR1/SOR2 Route.
This sure makes the game unenjoyable for us SOR3 fans incase someone here wants to know.

I started playing BKIII a lot closer to about 1 year before the release. I even started to prefer it's gameplay to SoR2 after a while. Once v5 was released, I did notice a few things off from the 3rd game, but I eventually found a great medium with the options settings, and I pretty much never play as the BKIII chars now. Except maybe Skate and Ash once in a while. Also, RC's BKIII hack is nice to go to when I want more of that BKIII feel.

As for the stages and story route, I'm ok with the rearranging because the buildup makes more sense now. I love mixing and matching routes anyway.

Hum.....this I agree with you

The SOR 3/BK 3 route was not loyal to the original SOR 3/BK 3 route, and I missed a final in SOR 3/BK 3 style.

But SOR 2 still are the my favorite original SOR game, sorry Chanwa. :P
Thank you so much Bombergames for this piece of art, i will never forget this forum, this game and the sormaker mods.

Just a note, we used Anton Bergin 's (sorry if I mispelt your name) SOR2/3 damage value guides.

Yes some stuff may be incorrect but it WAS difficult to get everything to where it is right now.

No, but what is difficult is giving a shit about a franchise that I spent alot of time doing new stuff for only to get the middle finger, while simultaneously seeing Sonic fans get metaphorical handjobs from Sega.
