Hi, I got weird problem hopefully someone can explain.

For some odd reason the game doesnt load instantly but really slowly. IT HAS LOAD TIMES. VERY LONG LOAD TIMES. Its not even worth playing. It takes at least 30 secs to fully load the game up to the main menu. It takes like 40+ secs to load each stage. I have never seen this and all the systems I played this on and they are really old and dont even remotely compare to this system. Yet they all load the game INSTANTLY they have no load times. What could be the cause of this? This shouldn't make a difference but is it because I transferred the game from my old system to my new system by network? Can anyone help me here?

well that depends because there are different drivers for different parts of the computer and certain make and model, also are you using service pack 1 with windows 7 gives better performance on x86 applications, if not here is the link for it http://windows-7-sp1-64bits.en.softonic.com/download, plus make sure windows is updated using the action centre, but too be honest I really do not know why you are having so many problems it could be graphics card being a ADM witch are inferior to nvidia

Inferior to Nvidia??? HAH!!! I ran this game perfectly fine on a system with no GPU in it and worked flawlessly. So I highly doubt its my card. I'll get SP1 though and see how that goes.

Exactly this. I ran v5 perfect on my laptop, and I bought it back in 2007. I know for a fact its graphics card is crap.

On a related note, AMD cards do NOT suck. I run a 2GB HD 6950 on my desktop and it breezes through much more taxing games than SoRR.

Normally I don't generally ask questions like this but there's one thing that's been on my mind for a while now.

Has any of the Bombergames crew attempted in the past few months to get the "ceast & desist" lifted off SoRR yet?

The reason why I'm asking is because after the fiasco, even though I got SoRR V5 "before" it happened (was released exactly on my birthday infact) that the hype feels rubbed off and that no matter how many bug reports are submitted, a patch would never see the light of day until Sega stops copyright-squating (they're even being a bunch of scrouges with Ecco The Dolphin at the moment) like a bunch of "Square Enix" nazis. I rarely ever read the SoRR section of the forums because there's not much I expect anymore after what happened.

A small patch was found in october. I say "found" because it's actually a patch Bomber made just a few days after the release. But I don't think anybody is touching the game anymore,I think only B can do it but he has disappeared since the sega incident as you know. The only patch I personnaly wish for is a buff to sor3 chars and an online mode, but I don't think that will ever happen.
