Ok, I just figured out who the 19th character REALLY is, it's not Beta Max as most of us assume, it's actually.

Could you elaborate on this? Do you just play as him in a event, or what?

Any tip how to beat the hardest, cheapest, most annoying event ever: BEAT TWO FUCKING SHIVAS WITH A SHIT OF ENERGY AND LET'EM ASS RAPE YOU OVER AND OVER AGAN!? FUCK! I thought I could have a "fair" battle if I use Shiva as well but noooo... those fuckers can block, those fuckers can do that god damn fire kick all morning long without having their energy drained and then can ass rape you like if there's no tomorrow! I'm so fucking pissed off!

It took me a few attempts to finish that event. I found the best way was to use shiva and play defensively just dodging away from them and not staying in line with them. Once your special bar is full you can pick a good moment to get a hit or two in with your combo and then use your forwards a special and then dodge away and repeat. Also try and kill them one at a time I found it easier to kill sor3 shiva first. Anyway just keep trying and you will get it eventually.

I did that event with Max. His slide is good at neutralizing them (and sometimes if they do the fire kick, Max can slide right through it and go for a grab), and his high damage output is perfect for this challenge.

Although if you just want to complete the event by any means possible,

How to beat 2 Shivas:

Spam Zan's >>B. Even better if you can get used to using the X button to do his 2/3 combo

All bosses except Abadede are easy in any difficulty, with a cheap repetitive but effective move, with any character. Also works for normal enemies.
The only difficulty can be punks or other bosses around, but most of the time the AI seems to have some problem there. When you're doing grab attacks, enemies around won't get close, they keep just watching, so you have space to do whatever you want. That works for two shivas event as well.
I remember doing it on mona&lisa boss, I took one at a time and the other was just watching around.

On those double bosses you can also try to keep one of them out of the screen, and attack the other close to the edge. The one that is out will take a while to get inside again because you're on the way (their AI is really very defensive). But be ware, the boss from outside can escape the trap and attack without a warning

Now the cheap trick:

Grab it. If you have any difficulty to grab some boss, hit first, then move to him/her (run if needed). Now it's the old cheap trick: do your grab attacks, vault, hit and grab again.
Do it fast for bosses like Barbon and sor2 bots, cose they can escape from your grab if you take too long.
I use shiva cose of his fast 3 grab punches. You can also try the old sor1 way: grab, knee, ungrab and grab again, but it's trickier and harder for some faster bosses (at least I wasn't able to time it correctly yet).

This works for all bosses except Abadede (so, this includes Shivas, Mr.X, Rudra, etc).
I used this trick to easily get gold medals on boss rush mode.

Edit: Robot Y is quite hard to grab, for that this trick may not work.
To grab a Jet, get close to him so he will rise up then charge on you (make sure to move away when he's rising up). then run for him, you'll be able to grab him.

Not really, if you can stay in range to hit him but also out of range to not get hit by his flex attack then he can go down pretty easily

Yeah I use to do that I meant except Abadede for that particular grab strategy

r.bear can be easily taken out by running across the screen diagonally up or down from him. He'll quite often do a jump attack which will miss you if you keep running across, leaving him vunerable to a grab. This can be rinsed and repeated pretty easily.

Yeah getting the keycard has proven difficult. Every time i've finally found it i've only had 4 seconds to spare

In getting the keycard/bomb in time, there seems to be a bit of luck involved. Thing is that you can't check all the rooms out and still make it ... I always hated timer stuff in any games ...

I don't like very much the way it is: random, a question of luck. You can find the bomb control right on the first door you try, or after visiting all other doors. So there is no strategy really, just try each door in a row until you find it .

The only trick I've used is forcing a savestate by quitting at start of the scene, copy the savestate and savegame to somewhere else and restore it one or two times until I find where the key doors are. I did it to beat shiva without stopping the bomb clock, I needed to go straight to the right door. This is kinda cheating, used just because of the luck factor which I disagree.
