Looks like nobody has a clue Nightwolf, can you give us a hint? Sounds like an RPG, and if it is, I don't have a fucking hope of guessing it.

I have no idea why, but at about 1:20 or so, it really sounds like a remix of Sonic 3 +Knuckles. You know, the sky zone, where you fight mecha sonic? It's the one right before Death Egg Zone.

You're right, it sounds very similar but it's not S3&K...
Anyway, I'm gonna give a random answer and say it's Baten Kaitos (coz I've never played that serie)

Was a genesis game, also ported to snes and pc.

Edit: I forgot, also nes :)

Edit: And no, no rpg :)

The japanese name is different, but in english too :)
