I was already doing Guy (Blaze) for SOR2 but progress is slow because I don't have much programming knowledge to alter movements and such. All I can do is replace sprites/animations and that's it.

And I really wanted to add voice samples, movement patterns and what not. :P

Yes as data, just have 2 Axel's on the select screen and being able to edit both to have different sprites that still fight in the Axel style.

because lets say I want to have Cody & Guy from Final Fight, then one of them will have to fight like Max or Zan or Blaze or Sammy,
while in reality he fights much closer to Axel's style.

In terms of data, that would be rather complicated, as far as I'm concerned. Special Move sound effects are determined differently from the jump attack, grab attack, and blitz voices.

That's what I figured, if it was easy people would have made Shiva playable in SOR2 long ago.

Problem with Vault Sprites

Ok, so my images are 176x192. I could only generate art out of the first two images of my character's vault sprite. Regardless of what file format all the other vault sprites are, I get that error saying that it can't load the sprite and that Pancakes is unable to save my BKIII ROM. Never even had this problem with my SOR3 ROM yet.

I get the feeling that the locations of pixels in my images are too high for Pancakes to generate art from them properly. So I lowered the position of the 3rd image, at least that worked. It was really just the 3rd frame that was causing the problem.
