My username is my musician alias that I use for all of my music. It combines both my initials (CMG) and my old nickname people called me (and still do) years ago (UTOPIA3686... minus the numbers, lol)

It started nearly a decade ago with "crazyboutluigi." I got older and more embarrassed by that name, so I shortened it to CBLuigi.

Then I extended those initials again to match up with this character I've associated myself with. (as seen in my avatar)

Also, blue is a cool color.

My brother and I are both big fans of blues music, and really like a lot of more modern blues artists such as Luther Allison, Coco Montoya, Susan Tedeschi, Delbert McClinton, Walter Trout etc. Dad always gets the names of these people mixed up and refers to all this music as "that Delbert Trout stuff" - I didn't think that sounded like too bad an internet username!

Me and my two brothers were thinking about what kinda name should we choose for our YouTube-channel and we talked a long time and couldn't agree on anything. Man was it hard! If I suggested something at least the other brother kinda didn't like it (if not both) and vice versa. Then suddenly, like a lightning bolt from a sky, Miske the middle-aged brother (yeah, middle-aged because I'm 24, he is 19 and the youngest is 18 so he is in the middle ) just said "allright, let's just put cogbob" (translated from finnish to english - except the word cogbob).

Cogbob. None of us know how that word combination came to his mind suddenly but this is what it means: Cog is a.. well, cog. A cogwheel, you know. The round objects inside clocks for example. (Just explaining it for the people who do not speak english as their mother language.) Bob is a verb and basically means something like moving back and forth. To move gently and vertically, in either a single motion or repeatedly up and down, at or near the surface of a body of water.

And there we go, we just put it like BAM there as our channel name and everything was settled.

I used to have a username (and avatar) with a strong superhero flavor, I just decided to have something similar yet more generic (the handle anyway, my avatars are random now).

My username on this forum is a nick for my "universal" username, Solinarius, which comes from the Dragonlance fantasy universe (based on the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy universe). Solinari is one of the gods of magic and as a Dragonlance fanboy, a D&D nerd and a wizard wannabe, it was inevitable that I choose this name, besides, I think it sounds cool .
