Okay, just to let you know, no moderator will do this to you. I dunno why you want to go (and honestly I don't really care), but If you want to leave just leave and don't come back. Remove the site from your bookmarks and resist the temptation to return. Doing these dramas are pointless.

ps: i have a doubt. please someone already try the sor3 fix 1.0 ips patch?
i think something is wrong there... because the bk3 fix 0.9 or 1.0 works perfect, but the sor3 1.0 fix dont works after patching it with a sor3 (U) rom or (E) rom.

It works fine with me (patching "Streets of Rage 3 (U) [!].bin"). It takes a little bit to start the sega logo but that's the same with the original. Also I checked the checksum and it's correct.

(i think that this sor3 fix 1.0 patch separated now must works. theres something wrong with the other version uploaded in a rar from sor-net site some days ago (one rar that haves both bk3 & sor3 fix 1.0 patches inside ).

about the sor3 fix 1.0 hack, now i see what happens...

for some really rare raison, it dont works on kegafusion. only works on gens. is very rare, because all the other hacks always works perfect in kf.

is a pity cant play it with kegafusion. thats my favorite emu due to the real pro action replay emulation (gens works different with codes), cheat code finder and compatibility with all that sega systems (mega-cd, 32x, sms).

apart, i have too many problems with gens and this new damn joystick that i have ., because dont let me use the cross and force me to use the fuck analog dualshock sticks... .


but back to the hack... is rare. why only this hack dont works on kegafusion?

when i try to load it, game dont load, SEGA title dont appears, and there appears this 2 rare fails:


1) -wrong head name of the rom in the emulator.???

2) -checksum fixed?. again??. well, the original sor3 rom i use and the resulting patched rom, both have the checksum fixed. i test it with the "FixCheckSum" program.
apart, i try different sor3 roms and thats not the problem. and even i try to disable the "autofix checksum" kegafusion option, but this dont works.

in conclusion: i dont have idea of hacking roms. but is like if this sor3 1.0 fix rom hack have some kind of... garbage?... or fail? in the begin of the load.
one thing that gens can load perfectly, but that kegafusion not .

ps: please, can someone recomend me another good emulator?
i like to play this like it deserves!. i mean playing it with the cross control, and not with that damn analogic mushroom joystick. thanks in advanced.

honestly, i hate those joysticks that force you to use the damn analog sticks and not the cross. they cause several problems to me with many emulators, mame and games... .

You know what is even more weird? I did a hack on top of sor3 fix 1.0, and that one loads fine on kega fusion. All fix 1.0 features are there, only added things. Btw that hack should be coming up soon, it's the sor3 turbo, reworked. There was a thread on *** where I posted an alfa of it.

well, i read some info about kegafusion, and it says that this emu, the best for me, have some fails with pirate games... thats means that hacks too .

by the way, go to gshi and download the new sor3-bk3 new trainer from silentkiller (im in class and cannot make a mirror ):

apart like i explain before, silentkiller says that is possible moves the enemies (cpu or playable) chars for make they perform some moves by adress codes in the trainer...
he says looks like this is possible in the 3 sor games.

by the way, when you go there please give to him some feedback (that buttons for "i like this post" and "thanks" , like he deserves . because is a pity see the trainers post empty of comments.


sor-net is gone. problems with the high price of the server, continuous stupid hacker attacks , and that he goes to live to usa soon, makes that the best sor site forever dissapear. a true sad notice...
maybe it come back someday (i hope).

one possible solution can be make a hacks release treat, linked with every hack post. like the one that already exist for complete sorrv5 mods.

if not, then you have to repeat the sor2.5 and sor3turbo post in brawlers avenue/sor hacks, or in here.

gsaurus: about mixing sor3 fix 1.0 with sor3 turbo and then it works in kegafusion. i dont know why, but i suppose that this could happen...

one crazy idea/experiment: try to make a useless ips patch. directly empty (only patching instructions, but nothing inside), or if not with a stupid thing.

i mean something like change the sega title colour, or maybe change the copyright in the title screen for put "sor3 fix 1.0 version" in there.

and then apply that ips patch, to one already patched sor3 rom with the sor3 fix 1.0.

i think that maybe this ips useless patch can fix the hack for working in kegafusion...

i know that this could be a poor solution , but meanwhile we dont know exactly why this rare fail happens, this can be a possible solution for that hack and others .

I started to use the pk3 , and I have a problem with the sound issue, I have not seen the option to add sounds to attack, not if there are ways.
the problem is that to hit the enemies most strokes are not heard.
at most times, only hear the voices of the player.

I would like to know how if you can do to add different sounds.
