To stay on topic, I'm trying to replace the first Barbon with Shiva, but it doesn't seem to be working properly, as I can't hear his grunt or "Final Crash". I wonder which Genesis emulator has a function similar to FCEUX's PPU viewer, so I could see if the enemy's graphics are loading correctly. Oh, and I tried setting another mode to the Lvl 1 Barbon who I want to be Shiva, and after I killed the Donovan the game seemed to freeze.

Now I found out that its was "original" rom so sound never work. I cannot remember which site did I downloaded from... :oops: because that was many years ago. Now I download another original version rom.

As for Blaze's combo, that must be timing of combo end. >_> I shall start all over again with BKM Blaze in SoR2.... <_> but I never poke my Knuckle in SoR2 hack from now on... <_<

If you need to start again, export the spritesheet and import it back on the new rom

Sorry for double post but... I wanna to tell you that I am not gonna start all over again because original SOR2/BK2 did not have the sound of enemies-hit-the-ground (only big bens and bosses does), unlike BK1 and Bk3. :oops:

well, back on topic, i want to ask 2 curiosities i have about the syndicate hack:

1) what kind of attacks can have galsia? in the video he only attack with a knife...
even if only donovan can ends their combo, i hope that galsia also can have one kind of infinite punch combo (like in mania).
or alternatively one fake combo, with the 3rd punch with the same animation, but that send the enemies to the ground. if not, honestly, it can be really boring :P.
maybe is a stupid question, but i have curiousity...

2) all the enemies have their original palettes, all less mrx, that have one different palette...
is simple colour selection?, or one kind of problem if him use the same enemy palette?

Galsia have infinite punch and knife walking. That's all for him.

Actually all playable enemies and bosses use the default palette (players palette). We recolored bosses to use the default palette in a way that minimizes the differences to the original bosses. Mr.X original colors however are way too different from all the colors present in the default palette. We have a few variations, orange/brown, dark blue, gray, white.. on this build the blue version was used

humm interesting.

well, i ask about galsia also, because i always think that can be really interesting play with the enemies. and more even if this are the more common and limited... since this can be a good challenge for else player. :wink:


ps: hey, i almost forgive it...! :P

after finish all hacks, (by the way, thanks for the bkm blaze joyjoyful), i replay streets of rage 1.
look what i found:

FFFF1E:0000 p1 select character (body) 2 -axel
FFFF1E:0001 p1 select character (body) 2 -adam
FFFF1E:0002 p1 select character (body) 2 -blaze
FFFF1F:0000 p2 select character (body) 2 -axel
FFFF1F:0001 p2 select character (body) 2 -adam
FFFF1F:0002 p2 select character (body) 2 -blaze

NOTE1: this 2nd body code works different than the 1st... meanwhile the 1st works after lose a life. the 2nd works before starts one stage, or when you continue. so you can use both codes together.
NOTE2: only the second body code change your identity. so if you take the bad ending ways, use this 2nd code for change the character in the ending.
NOTE3: also dont forget remenber than with the 1st code, until you lose a live, you moves bad. this maybe causes you cant move, and that you have to wait to the time up. (for this, better use the speed up option in kegafusion emulator).

i already send they to sor-online, but here they are. for those who dont want to wait to the next site update.
(notice that of course, the 1st body code that i talk about, are in sor-online).

i think that now, with this 2 body codes together, is much better can change the character during the game. a thing that only the sor1 dont allows you make during one play :P.

well, the history is that gaxe 3 have all the enemies programmed like playable chars if you use pro action replay codes.
HOWEVER... the game loads the palette for they ONLY when they have to appear in one stage :x.
so that make all they unplayable with wrong palette colours if you try to use they in else other different stage :? .

just one thing: please download the sor2 trainer again. silentkiller tell me that he does some changes to it.

SoR3 Shiva Music

I tried so hard to change the music that plays upon encountering Shiva in SoR3. According to my trace and hook logs, address 1FC4 is what's changing the music. So I jump up 14 addresses in hex, and well, that doesn't turn out to be what's changing the music either. Another address I tried changing its value glitched up my Player's lifebar.

other thing: silentkiller tell me thats is posible force the enemies (when you play with they using the trainer) to do some attacks. by using the trainer and the STATE option, or even the game genie codes him do.

i forget another important thing!: if you look fine, then you already noticed that in the golden axe 3 ips hacks site: http://homepage.corbina.net/~lich/romhacks.html there are many other interesting ips patches...

two interesting examples:
------------------------------
one cool sor1 ips, for you can select both players the same char in a 2 players game (not only blaze, else of
the 3 chars!).

how this works? in the character screen the 2 players cursors appears one over the other, showing that both players are placed in the same char.

note: the only thing you cant do is change the char when continue. for that you can use my par codes, the silentkiller codes, or also the sor1 kegafusion trainer.

also there are one interesting sonic 3 & knuckles patch, for have tails following knuckles.


ps: i have a doubt. please someone already try the sor3 fix 1.0 ips patch?
i think something is wrong there... because the bk3 fix 0.9 or 1.0 works perfect, but the sor3 1.0 fix dont works after patching it with a sor3 (U) rom or (E) rom.

i try different sor3 roms just in the case, but i think that this is not a rom problem, is a ips fail. right?

apart of this, i see that the bk3 fix is compatible with the bk3 english translation patch :).
