Resuming Windows is literally the worst fucking feature ever.

It takes 5 minutes to restore everything to its normal self while booting the entire computer when its completely shut down takes only a minute.

Not only that, my entire computer laaaaags like hell for like 10 minutes afterwords. For example, Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 should not be acting like its running on a vacuum tube (especially when the computer has 8GB of RAM and a i7 Core Processor)

Anyone else have this annoying issue as well or is it just me?

I use to have a similar issue, but ever since I got my new PC I haven't.

I had the same issue as well untill I cleaned out the tower of the pc and another reason why I found out windows took so long to resume was registry errors. No matter how fast the pc is if it has registry errors or is dirty it going to take a while to resume.

That shouldn't be happening. I use standby over shutdown just because is so fast and have never had a problem like that.

Something on the system will be dragging its ass in some way or another.
The box said "Requires Windows 95 or better." I can't understand why it won't work on my Linux computer.

I just read about this. That really sucks, he was one of the few good blacktors out there. Despite his lackluster roles as Balrog and the Kingpin, he had an awesome persona.

RIP Michael Clarke Duncan.
