Yamato full fight (Don't watch it if you don't want spoilers) :

- I wanted to show all his moves so is a slow and bad played battle.
- Is played in normal, other modes could be more or less challenge.

Other stuff :
Chars 100%
Enemies 99% (missing one)

That's quite a good work on one of the most complex bosses from the franchise.
Also lovin' Duke's remix, sounds like he could improved it.

Hi everyone!!

Well...there's so many memories, feelings, time spent playing the SOR saga, lurking in this forum ( my bad xD ) nerves, excitement, learnings and just tons of patience since I realized the making for this awesome project that I simply can't stand anymore and finally, decided to join this community, despite numerous facts, but hey, better late than never ^^

My first thought was to do the things well and go to formal presentations and greetings, but...you know, after months and months of waiting, thinking, and lurking the forum in the shadows, to watch this last update was too much for me, so here I am. Now that I am officially here, I'm afraid there will be lots and lots of fun apporting discussing and contributing to this outstanding project so... :D no regrets!!

Now for the main event. This update. Awesome. Simply awesome. From the music ( it fits perfectly, the ad of the "trademark ninjesque-japanesque sound" it's just the icing of the cake, thumbs up, it stole me a smile xD ) from the stage, the background...all moves and fits smoothly and most important, loyal to the well known philosophy of B, that is, respect the original without losing the essence and improving it!! That's the most important thing and within this philosophy lies the real and amazing success of all the efforts and work that B and Bomber Team put out on. I don't know even care about other people's thinking, but for me, it was worth waiting to the piece of art, well manners and good taste that is SORR.

Ok, enough drooling and sit bouncing, it was clearly stated that I am totally wiped about this, but I was in need to type out in words all what I felt during all this time. Again, congratulations to B and the team!!

Alright, excitement, drooling and compliments, time for the positive feedback :D

As I said, it's just perfect, lacks anything, but...I'm a little dissapointed about one thing. I noticed that in SORv4, Yamato doesn't have his trademark scream-to-death, you know, the Shiva's ( and Mr X I think ) one, and for what I can see, or better said, hear xD he doesn't have it either in SORv5. Just wondering why...? Maybe to emphatise that Yamato is just another boss? Or to separate him from Shiva and Mr X? Mmm...I know it maybe have no relevance but...to keep the spirit, oh well, truly I hoped that in v5 Yamato have his scream, but it just a little observation, seems no one complained about that before xD and it's understandable. After all it's a simple point but...seeing the efforts, cherish and time B is putting on this, I just wondering. It will be awesome if the final version implements that ^^

At the moment that's all folks! There are many more things to comment about this astonishing game, but I'm sure they will get out by time (otherwise , this post will be far mooooore long than it is, and regardless my thinking is " better quality than quantity " xD it's enough by now) I hope so. Keep going B, and...Thanks

No, really, thanks

I already said thanks? Oh well...just in case

Thanks for all

And sorry about my english...it's a little rusty I'm afraid :?

Looks good! Yamato looks perfect in this battle and the remix is sounding very nice, Duke did a nice job on it.

The only gripe I had with this were the trees getting sliced in half at the beginning of the fight. It's a cool idea, but I felt like it could have been more...polished IMO. But other than that, everything else looked great.

I've been keeping an eye on this project on and off for the past couple of years. A cursory glance back here reveals that it really does look 99.5% complete.

Really hoping for a pre-christmas release. It'll be like old times. Me and my brother sprawled out on the couch (got a big HDTV I can hook the PC up to now) with our gamepads and enough snacks and attitude to punch our way through the holidays.

SoRR looks fantastic. 4+ games worth of content, a full level-editing suite included, and pretty much every weakness of the old originals hammered out and replaced with more awesomeness. Surely it can't be true!

Speaking of weaknesses, will the player be able to exploit repeatedly grabbing Yamato when he gets up as Zan like in the original? That was one of the things that made them way too easy.

Glad that you fix the vaulting and the timing on the slams.

The community was thristing for an update and here it is! A full boss fight with custom intro!! Loved every moment of it. The trees being sliced is an awesome effect and makes me wonder what other types of surprises await... The extra details on this stage (bonzai trees and illuminating lights) stood out and looked wonderful! The only diffrence in Yamato's AI is sometimes he speeds up when it seems no one's been knocked down... this is great and keeps up with the pace of the action. Also love Duke's Shinobi Reverse!!

Seeing those percentages B posted also had me in awe. Finish line is near... great job B and team!!!

My favorite part is that light speed dash! That's interesting how it's only stage 2 when this boss was one of the later bosses on SOR3. I like what I'm seeing!
