It also seems like the tree and bushes are casting a shadow over the ground. Nice.

Nice Work Bomber

You must be some Artist to make the new levels look as dynamic and improved as that.
Im really looking forward to the release.

Keep up the good work

i respect the development for sor v5. but im getting slowly boring of waiting.
so when you guys work perfectly on this game, then you can perfectly say when the perfect release date is. the last news(statement) was on feb 3rd. and i really know what development is. will it be released in 5 years???? when you guys really dont know when exactly the release date is, at least you can probably say when the release is about.... and please dont understand me wrong!!!!!!

OK, maybe there's something you didn't get so allow me to clarify this:

DONE.ON.FREE.TIME

We already guaranteed many times the release is due to be this year so try to be as patient as the ones who have been following this project for over 5 years. Thank you

If you respect the development as you say, then please read the rules and don't ask for a release date. This is a freeware game, done in Bomberlink and the other SorR contributors' free time.

Please read the Forum Rules here: http://www.bombergames.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1756

:D I am not an admin nor am I involved in this project. But I do know a thing or two about software projects.
I am also going to state this here because there are some that will not read the entire thread or even the rules.

Even though we were told that it would be released sometime this year does not put that statement in stone. Things happen in real life that may prevent that from happening. I for one would like to see the release as soon as possible BUT I also know that this is a labor of love and should be treated and respected by all for that very reason. This team does not HAVE to do this.. they could walk away tomorrow and we would all be exactly where we are right now.
So let us all just be thankful that this team is putting forth the effort to complete this project and give them the time and space that they need to complete this project. I still go back and play the original SOR 1 and it still is as fun as it was the first day I put the cart in the Genesis (Mega Drive to the rest of the world) We still have SORR v4...so why not play that for yet a little while longer and just wait for v5 OK? .....good.
***************************
To Bomber and the team...doing a GREAT job and, as you may already know, we all appreciate your efforts and your labor of love..it is not going un noticed. there are many who do not chime in but appreciate you all just the same.
Thank You and please take your time.. in this era of game companies rushing betas out to the store shelves and then patching later is getting frustrating to say the least. It is very comforting to know that there are still people who refuse to do that and will not release a game until they feel it is right.

Thank You

I will wait as long as it takes.I'm following this since I was 17 and now I'm 23 so, a couple of months (or years  ) of extra waiting are not going to kill me.

The game should be ideally tested. Release date is not so important.

I've been following SORR since I downloaded V4 two years ago. At the time, Bomber was already talking about V5. I'm thinking to myself, "Yay, it's about to come out!" However, that clearly wasn't the case. Following SORR taught me patience. It helped me appreciate all the effort being put into this project. I know that when V5 comes out, SOR fans worldwide will rejoice at its perfection.

Keep up the good work, team. I'm proud of you all, as a fellow SOR fan.

Then its still going to be a very early Christmas for 2012 :D

Also following this project for more then 3 years. Time is going fast. I appriciate all the work that you guys do. You guys are all great and heroes in my eyes. The thing that I dreamed about in my youth in making my own version is coming to life when I see all the hard work in it. Just keep working in your own time. Its finished when its finished :)

Perhaps its a stupid question, but...will the V4 savegame will be compatible with V5 ?

Thanks you !

It won't since V5 is going to be so much different than V4.

I've found out and followed this forum since February of '08 and have gotten eager to play when ever I've seen an update. I don't post much on the forums often, yet I like coming on to see previews and anticipate on when they game might come out. After seeing the "last update" on February 3rd and hearing that the game should come out sometime this year that's good enough for me.
