"News for Feb. 3rd, 2010"

Are we having problems with the Wii version of SORR?

Sorry, but I'm very anxious here...

Bomber, and the rest of the team, have lives. Please remember (for the hundreth time), this is stuff worked on in free time.

You guys have been getting updates as the game progresses so your not totally in the dark (like Sonic fangames).

As far I know, the Wii port hasnt any problems, just waiting for final game.

Wait, you've been posting in the quick updates topic, haven't you read the topic to see the updates that were made on the project since the 3rd of February?!
Man even a video was posted a few days ago and some people find a way to complain about how long they haven't got an update, simply amazing...

If I just happen to die before this game is released they better have it available in the after life or I'll be pissed.

Just saying...

it takes as long as it takes. I for one am just happy that bomber and the team are taking the time to make v5. Patience is a virtue! plus, to get bk on topic, the yamato fight looked awesome. i enjoyed the cheeky intro to it as well, nicely done.

I have SoRR v4. It is keeping me busy until v5 is released. There's no rush for me to see v5 getting released. Since that v5 is the final version, they are making sure that everything goes well and all.

I know it's a tangent, but no other thread seems appropriate. Closer to release, Team Bomber might want to get in contact with the (really well-produced - like, proper studio and camera crew and everything) web-TV series Bytejacker (http://www.bytejacker.com/). They just did a large section focusing on the best fangames out there, and at the end of it were talking about Streets of Rage.

The host is a pretty cool dude. I reckon he'd love SoRR V5 and would likely do a fairly big segment about it, given the chance. After all, no point in spending years on a project this amazing if barely anybody knows it exists.

Tangent over. Please don't eat me.

Like I said before, waiting for it is all part of the fun - the dreaming, the imagining, etc. We all know this game is going to be brilliant.

Once this game is released and we know it inside out, the buzz and excitement will cease.

So savour these moments.

Try the SoRR V5 Speculations, Plans, Discussion, Etc. Thread next time. I'm made that thread specifically for that kind of discussion.

Perhaps this may even convince SEGA to give us what we want: Streets of Rage IV.

At this point, I hope they never make it, because it would be a terrible watered-down 3D beat-em-up that doesn't do justice to the series. I'd rather have SORR than anything that comes from Sega nowadays (and not because it's free).

Anyway, it might be best to lock the topic until another update comes.

I think it'd be a good idea, yeah.
