Do the cheats for V4 work for V5 or will there be new ones or none at all?

lol won't work anymore I'm afraid. The cheats will now be unlocked as an item in the shop. Here is an excerpt from the February 2009 blog update:

Project Blog wrote:Cheats 100 %
With the v4’s cheat’s lack of success, 16 new cheats have been added taking over the old ones. The cheats in v5 are centered in specific things and in gameplay changes.
- They can be activated from the store menu once purchased, it’s not necessary to input the code in the logo screen.
- All the cheats can be accumulated. There can be 15 active cheats since there is a couple which are incompatible together. There could be some crazy effects.
- The cheats can be saved in the configuration. It’s not necessary to activate them every time.

Cheat 9 : ”All the katanas can be turned into Light Sabers”
Image

Special effects in the Light Saber:
- Specific sounds.
- Random cuts in the enemy.
- Attack damage increased over the original katana.

The cheat shown in the link above (possibly Cheat 4 or 6 as I can imagine) will allow beating and using specials infinitely without damaging the weapons! Woo hoy! :D

Another (possible) 2 new cheats: first, every female character from the series will fight completely naked for the sake of the happiness of all forum perverts... 8) ; second, all non-canon enemies and bosses (such as Hara-Kiri and Rocket Dwarf) will spawn endlessly in the game... HUH??? WHAT THE HELL AM I SAYING???

Hyper-Secret Cheat newly discovered in V4: Bomberlink will be brainwashed into fully revealing us the exact V5 release date... I wonder if it'll truly work... hmm, possibilites!

So is Fraps gonna be supported for Version 5?

It sucked having to hunt down a good recording program that actually supported sound. Plus, I no longer can support sound in those programs anyway due to the lack of Stereo Mix and Wave Out sound settings. So really, Fraps is all I have that's worth recording with.

Not sure. I doubt external program support is a priority for B though.

I probably should have mentioned it a year or two ago back before the final Blog update. If he's using some kind of DirectX or similar thing for some of the pixel smoothing filters then it might be compatible with Fraps, even unintentionally.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see huh? =P

Do we happen to have a final number on the amount of remixes from the game? I've been laying through some classic SoR and was starting to realize how much I miss the music. I know that the blog states that a majority of the music will be remixed and in place, but I was hoping it would be most of the primary levels, specifically some missing from v4 such as the boat music from SoR. Is there perhaps a list of levels that have been remixed? What boss music is in place as well? I know plenty of people who like SoR's the best. I highly doubt this next question, but will there be a classic option to turn to if you want to hear all the original work instead? Just been very interested in what we'll be hearing soon.

I should note, I know about the "The Archive of SoR Series Music" but I wasn't sure if that is a somewhat finalized list or not. Thanks.

Hey guys, I know I am new on this forum and don't post much but thanks for not 'ripping me a new one' (as Duke Nukem would say) just because i'm considered a newbie. I have infact followed this homebrew project for years now and can't wait to get it for my hacked wii. It just wanted to ask / speculate regarding the project as I don't want it to disappear like most homebrew projects do.

I would kindly ask, are any of you higher ups (mods) still in touch with him on a regular basis?
Also, Is the Wii Port (not the final touches of the game itself, just the port) completed?

Finally, I know it's just an extra but who else thinks it was pointless to add motion control as an option?
I am an old-skool gamer and find that crap to be really annoying and impresise to say the least.

Motion control in a 2D side-scroller...? :S I agree, pointless...

I also have a question: (not about release dates since that seemed to anger y'all a lot...)
Can you shine any light on SOR3 Shiva's moveset and if there is a page about this, could you link it for me?

Thanks! :D
Three ninja's walk trough a tunnel. Their names are Kosugi, Mifune and Chiba. Some time later, a train passes by. Kosugi jumps up, Mifune jumps up, but Chiba's AI is too stupid to realise the impending doom ahead, plus, he sees a squirrel.

Yeah I am in contact with B. He works on the game every day.

As far as I am aware. The video showed it running on tthe Wii anyway.

Then there would be people who would say "You did a Wii port with no motion control??!!" I suppose you cannot please everyone. The Wii port will support Classic Controller and Gamecube pad so you can always use those. 8)

You can add custom soundtracks in version 4 too btw. ;) All you need is something to convert your music files to OGG but you can only replace existing music tracks. Also, version 4 supports audio CDs if you put them in (plays random tracks but only plays up to 13 of the tracks automatically. The other ones you have to play yourself if you wanna hear them in game. This feature is removed in version 5 due to redundancy and the fact that it wasn't actually easy to code.)

I got a question I can't remember the answer to... if I ever asked it in the first place.

The soundtrack, will it be downloadable from site or is it already accessible from the V5 download? ...Erm I mean will it be a separate download...

And I think I remember reading that all the tracks not included in game would be available as well...

I understand the file size of V5 may dictate a lot of the answer so...

::EDIT:: SO I sound like a total n00b tonight...

As far as I am aware, you are correct, the full ST will be available as a separate download. And we all sound like noobs sometime.
