What other characters?
This is old school with only Axel/Blaze/Adam.
You kids and your huge number of characters... well back in my day, if you got even 2 characters you considered yourself lucky! :lol:

How'm I supposed to get an ending for a character who didn't exist? :roll:

You both did a great job with the current mini-mod so it is in safe hands. CajNatalie will be busy tweaking her SoR2 mod for a while by the looks of things so you could come up with a plot/text in the meantime. Best of luck with it and I look forward to the finished product :)

Oh lol. Internet. :lol:

Anyway, fortunately, after getting the first one (Adam) done, I didn't have to spend hours watching rewatching and syncing to the original and making sure the timing is all perfect.
You know... Adam took me past 5am to do.

980 frames each.
Hell I had to cut out the time for Presented by Sega 1991 to scroll up and instead combo it with the laugh's timing to stay in the 999 limit. That threw off my calculations a bit for syncing up 'Bad End'... especially at 5am.

And for non-canon playthroughs, here's your empty chair...

I may not be a 'nice' person, but I understand how to respect people. :3

Oh don't thank me... it was only over 100 more click & drags of repetetiveness (after going back, grabbing the chair, filling in the missing void that the characters usually cover up, and all that, too). :mrgreen:

The Trilogy is remade... to as much perfection as possible.

Now I can finally give other people's mods a try... starting with the Sonic mod.

As for what I'll make next...
I need to restart Round 5 because of a few things that I realised... and I'm up for extending Adam's Mod.

Docks -> 4 Stages (one of them is the Warehouse) -> Petrov -> Lab

Since Adam's Team may not be the only one defusing bombs, there's potential for other routes if more scenes are made. Team Adam goes where you send him/Max, while Team B is called in to defuse the bomb on the other route. Can be explained in a short cutscene.
I would actually love to have alternate routes, to give more variety & replayability to an already potentially awesome mod, given its reception for the 3 stages currently released there is much to be expected & therefore much to be delivered.

Badjab is the right hand script man, and may or may not be able to provide scenes; I'll see.
Laucorn has offered to help with scenes.
Cogbob has agreed to let us use his mixes.
Want to help? Provide backup for how you can help, and make sure you have Yahoo, MSN, or... as a last resort... AIM (lol).

After a day or few, hopefully we can get this thing rolling again.

Looking at the HUNTER stages, that's more than enough reason to show you know your stuff.

Send me a PM with whatever way you wanna be in touch, when you've got the time (considering you've still gotta focus on getting HUNTER out on to the grand stage, I won't rush).

Streets of Rage Megamix: So I for a moment thought of uniting the SoR1-3 mods in to one, but that alone wouldn't be enough. Instead I'm considering seeing if other modders would be willing to allow a combination of the scenes from other mods to fill in the remaining scenes to create one huge megamix.
It would need script to tie the scenes together, and I'll need to routemap them.
Also, the 'Go' parts would need graphics changing to show where you'll end up so you're not walking in to some random scenery to go someplace.
Just a rough idea at the moment.

So, I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to contribute in this.
Another collaboration mod.

First off I'd probably ask Charco if I could replace equivalent SoR stages with their v4 versions... but otherwise I'd leave everything else to 'submissions' (from mod-makers only... you can suggest a mod that isn't yours but I won't do anything about it unless its maker gives permission). I'd also like to keep stage numbers in order. So a scene from one mod's stage 1 can only be used in stage 1, etcetera.

Secondly... I'll need script and a story. I'm all function... don't expect me to come up with a plot (ZOMG CREATIVITY - I have none). I'd prefer to keep it progressive so not to have a massive full script from the start but instead provide a stage by stage development.

Thirdly... last but definitely not least... the links connecting scenes ('Go-^') would need some graphical adjustment so it hints at where you're going to end up; the transition is more natural.


Why am I thinking about this now with Adam mod in production?
Don, the master scenery man, may be offline for a few days. I have time to sidetrack on the next mod in line for a bit.

It could end up being a combo of the original games' scenes with the best of the unique scenes from all the willing modders out there.

Still it's just a thought for now. :P

Damnit Charco, you made me add this to the list...

Golden Rage: Golden Axe 3 is an awesome game... with alternate routes, where you run around slashing/beating peeps up. Streets of Rage 1, IIRC, was developed from the original Golden Axe engine... so a mod to bring things full circle is begging to be made.
Once MegaMix is done this might just begin.
Potential for extra scenes using GA1/2 stages, BTW.

So yeah, it seems that Adam's Story Extended was a successful collaboration with the community members and seems Caj it's willing to continue working in more projects following the Adam's/SOR3/BKIII storyline and even trying to put the projects of Laucorn and mine in the same universe (which for me it's quite fine, it will give tons of life to the community).

So yeah, SOR4: Bingo's Revenge could be the first solid project to work next, if you really enjoyed Adam's, i think SOR4 would be also a nice mod to work with. :)

To expand this suggestion a bit, (and now that Adam & Max are covered) a mod featuring Zan and Elle's story might be interesting, they have similar abilities and fondness towards electricity...

Enter Poxy the Kangaroo, former colleague of Bingo, who is now the only one who can save the day and possibly bring Bingo back to world of happiness and sanity. Being a kangaroo, Poxy cannot talk, but his boxing background proves to be essential in the task ahead...

Oh, and Rudra & Shiva are also logical partners and we already have her minimod.
