When I say 'as a game' I'm referring to gameplay. That's all that matters with old school games. I simply can't play BKIII's undifficulties.
Anyway, that's enough of me being unnecessarily dramatically vocal simply for the sake of it.
I'm building the City Hall stage now... and have the unused Donovan Bridge ripped and put together.
I'm open to ideas on what to put in it... will be posting a video of the scene in a bit.
[rant]Well, let me put it like this. Axel, was my favorite char in SoR2 back then, I loved everything about SoR2, and I usually played on Normal mode. Then I got SoR3, not only did they change the entire atmosphere and style from the 1st 2 games, but Axel looked like shit. Blaze and skate weren't so bad, but Axel, my god he was horrible looking. On-top of that, being the casual player I was you can imagine my grief at not being able to make it all the way through, 1p on normal mode, so I switched to Easy only to discover that the game ended early.
I'll admit I had great satisfaction when my cousin and I managed to beat the game on hard the 1st time. But playing it after that was just a chore, I get bored when an easy enemy takes 2 minutes to defeat just because of his over-sized lifebar, not to mention he'd occasionally get lucky and get 2 hits in taking down half my life bar. Switching to BKIII was a pleasure, I could do a quick playthrough when I wanted, the voices and palettes were great, and the story wasn't bad. [/rant]
I could go on and on about how BKIII is at the very least equally as good as SoR3 but I'll stop there.
As for the motorbike levels, I say you could do a copy paste of the SoR2 truck(SoRRv4 style so you can see the stage in the back). OR you could do a few SoR2 bikers at the beginning of the stage, and a cutscene that alludes to them stealing bikes and taking off. OR complete omission, it's up to you.
