THAT is hilarious. Random Censorship+useless changes+less characters+overkill on the difficulty =/= superiority. VampX would have a heart attack.

Basically if you started with SoR1, or even SoR2, SoR3 was raping the previous games and laughing at you in the process  It alienated all of the casual fans. BKIII only needs slight tweaks to be a great game, SoR3 needs to be tweaked back to BKIII and then tweaked again.

Hey I started with SoR1. :P
When I say 'as a game' I'm referring to gameplay. That's all that matters with old school games. I simply can't play BKIII's undifficulties.

Anyway, that's enough of me being unnecessarily dramatically vocal simply for the sake of it.
I'm building the City Hall stage now... and have the unused Donovan Bridge ripped and put together.

I'm open to ideas on what to put in it... will be posting a video of the scene in a bit.

Round 4 is harder than Round 1 for Blaze, and I did it, too!!!

SoR3 as close as possible as to how it should've been: Complete Edition
Plus a Mini-Mod: Adam's Story

[rant]Well, let me put it like this. Axel, was my favorite char in SoR2 back then, I loved everything about SoR2, and I usually played on Normal mode. Then I got SoR3, not only did they change the entire atmosphere and style from the 1st 2 games, but Axel looked like shit. Blaze and skate weren't so bad, but Axel, my god he was horrible looking. On-top of that, being the casual player I was you can imagine my grief at not being able to make it all the way through, 1p on normal mode, so I switched to Easy only to discover that the game ended early.

I'll admit I had great satisfaction when my cousin and I managed to beat the game on hard the 1st time. But playing it after that was just a chore, I get bored when an easy enemy takes 2 minutes to defeat just because of his over-sized lifebar, not to mention he'd occasionally get lucky and get 2 hits in taking down half my life bar. Switching to BKIII was a pleasure, I could do a quick playthrough when I wanted, the voices and palettes were great, and the story wasn't bad. [/rant]

I could go on and on about how BKIII is at the very least equally as good as SoR3 but I'll stop there.

As for the motorbike levels, I say you could do a copy paste of the SoR2 truck(SoRRv4 style so you can see the stage in the back). OR you could do a few SoR2 bikers at the beginning of the stage, and a cutscene that alludes to them stealing bikes and taking off. OR complete omission, it's up to you. :)

I suppose I must look to people like you like SoR2 Mania players look like to me...
But in all honesty, I'm mostly a Normal player... I played Hard from time to time when I felt like it.

Anyway, how's this for Donovan Bridge?

Three Donovans (because he's the main character of the scene), a Galsia+Knife (reference to knife throwing section), and a Storm (it's a bike stage).
Each rise in difficulty adds one of each.
2P mode adds 3 more of each.

Since there was an unused roadblock sprite that looks identical to Stage 2's roadblock, I put a couple of them in to stick apples in (just don't let the Donnies eat them).

Anyway, as for making up for not riding bikes...
The Donovan who drives by didn't get the memo that the Syndicate had a roadblock set up (the truck+barricades+ambush)... poor bastard crashed right in to their truck, which is full of bikes (so via cutscene the gang still rode bikes to go the rest of the way).

Lol, any of the original remake stages are free to be used. XD

And now for the next scene...

Gar... it's difficult.

Are you giving out a resource pack like you did with SoR1 and 2?

Also, it looks like my favorite BKIII/SoR3 stage is progressing very well. :)

I so love The Poets on the video. Fits so well the stage. :)

Yesh, there will be a resource pack (the Try Harder Edition has 1-5, so why wouldn't I do the other stages, too? :3 ).

As usual I've typed up some quick instructions on how to properly construct the City Hall Exterior (so you don't get a void or other misalignments).

Penultimate Scene Done...

So SoR3's 2P Hard mode has absurd HP?
Well that's true... but no timeout here... not this time!

Very nice! I'll be replacing that theme with Max Man II most likely :P

I find it a bit odd that BG didn't include the generals face just for the purpose of having one in SoRmaker.
