Good Job Cajnatalie, this mod It's getting better and better! :mrgreen:

If you accept any suggestion I suggest you put dialogues or cutscenes in the final version to give a current look at the game so it is not just a simple SOR 1 mod. :wink:

And if you can please put the BGM 1401's attack of the barbarian V5 unsued please, i love that version XD :mrgreen:

I'll be open to suggestion on dialogue. It's something I'll collaborate with some people on if there's enough interest. It'd polish the finished product off nicely.

I'll see about sticking the unused 'V5 Mix' version in there when I do Stage 5. Problem is the .ogg files I make end up 10 times the size they should be... but one more track than planned shouldn't hurt. XD

Anyway, for anyone who hasn't noticed, I've updated the files with Stage 4, and split the downloads in to two; just the SoRMaker project and just the resources, now that I've made significant progress.

It's looking friggin' sweet, hon. Keep it up! :)

I was checking the Moon Beach stage, there's a point where you said SOR1 Galsias won't carry metal pipes and then you placed a Donnie out there, which is not bad and gives variety to the roster. However, if you are really aiming for the best consistency based on the classic SOR1, what you could do, though is to place the Galsia and immediately ahead of him the metal pipe, it's like 99.9% sure he'll grab it and will look like if he was carrying it with him all the time (this was an idea that graylandertagger gave me on my mod with characters who don't carry certain weapons as default but they will grab them from the floor, like Storms will carry only metal pipes but not bats, however, they do pick bats from the floor).

Hope this tip helps you out. :)

The idea Don posted for the Galsia with Pipe gets my thumbs up,remove the donovan from there.
Plus no need to add alternate soundtracks,just keep it original man,V5 is already there for that alternative music gameplay.
I'm expecting the mod to complete this week

I disagree about the musics because I don't use the V5 musics in this mod too, i use the OST and the alternative remix pack musics to give a current look at the game. :wink:

But i respect your opinion if you prefer the original musics. :wink:

I'll probably put the Alternate & V5 ogg lists in their own download due to the final filesizes.
Anyone who wants to customize can download those, and for peeps like Chan they can leave the download alone.
Simple, lol.

Anyway, this one was pretty tough to put together, and is also pretty tough to demo on Mania, lol...

...I need to work on my Blaze skills. XD

It's looking real good, the swarms of the original are still there and gosh, this level was annoying!

I'm glad my tip of the pipe on the ground worked for you. :)

Next, the most boring stage of SOR1: The Factory. :P

BTW,don't you try to release the most boring Stage,the factory .:lol:
Release the full mod next time,I will not download this stage 5,I wait for full mod.
Make sure you do that separate music thing,I want to keep it original. :D

Fair enough, Stages 6 & 7 are part of 'Stage 8 Extended' anyway.

I have an idea on how to work the Yes/No thing. I can't do the Fight to the Death but I believe I can do the other two.

By the way, I'm unsure if I can get the barrier on Stage 7 in.
I'm gonna try some Collision Map color testing, see if Bomber's hidden anything among the RGBs.
I hear Yellow is designed for Stage 7...?
What kind of yellow, though? 128, 128, 0? 255, 255, 0? Anyone know the specific RGB value?

I can't seem to find any info on making elevator stages, but I don't want to go in blind.
I've done well so far picking techniques up, and don't want to get held up right before the last stage.

Everyone who has experience with elevators and hidden collision map colors, please feel free to drop tips & info.
