Streets of Rage 2 for V5 - With Patch for Stuck Enemies

It's past 3am as I type this but to hell with that.
Finally... all three games have been ported to V5 with as much perfection as possible.

The game considered by the majority as their favorite.
The ultra-popular one... Streets of Rage 2.

By the way, I used Very Easy as the baseline difficulty. Since SoR2 doesn't have 2P enemies (it just bumps the placements up one level), Easy mode determined who went in to 2P mode (that way I could keep all the other difficulties' enemies in line - eg: Normal adds Normal enemies, Mania adds Mania Jets, etcetera).
Mostly just Galsias & Donovans... in Stage 7, Enola & Molecule also turned out to be Easy enemies (you should be glad to get a break by that point in the game, lol!), but otherwise it's just G-Men & Donnies (and not very many of them) that've been put in 2P mode.

Enemies could get stuck at the end of the bridge or on the Stage 3 ship - this patch fixes that.

Fixes to collision maps is the main difference between this and the last, among a few smoothed lines in one or two scenes.

Difficulty Guide
All yellow HP enemies, who're still in yellow in Mania, will use Mania HP. Otherwise any enemies who get a blue bar (I call them 'star enemies') will be scaled to match their respective difficulty.
Enemy counts, when given, are from looking over my notes.
Easy: Very Easy placement. Star enemies use Easy HP.
Normal: Adds all enemies present in Normal mode but not in Easy mode, and the number is pretty significant. The change between Easy to Normal provides a very noticeable increase in enemy placement.
Hard: Adds enemies present in Hard mode but not in Normal mode. This usually means adding a few mid-tier enemies here and there. It's not many, but they make a difference, and you'll notice them.
Hard adds 86 enemies.
Very Hard: Adds enemies present in Hardest mode but not in Hard mode. Not many... not many at all... the main differences are AI and star enemy HP.
Very Hard adds 56 enemies.
Mania: Star enemies get a rather large boost in HP, and the AI is, of course, cranked up to maximum.
Adds Tomcat, Spitfire, Galsia, Galsia, Blitz, Kite, Mosquite, and Uranium.
2P Mode: Adds enemies present in Easy mode but not in Very Easy mode - and using Mania HP.

I'm pretty happy with this mod. Couldnt've turned out better.


Anyway, gonna add this as a 2 player demo... me & myself FOREVER ALONE as Blaze & Shiva, tearing Mania apart.

Already found 2 bugs 1 in the second level before the truck its like an enemy is offscreen so you cant do anything and same thing on the next level with the pirate ship section. Game breaker with characters who don't have a police call.

Apart from that its good and exactly how I remember SOR2

im sorry i didnt say it in the past but, awesome mod and great work with this one

i was happy to download it a long time ago and i should have left a comment to show my appreciation

however thats not my full reason for this post.

the ship level [round 5] isnt exactly the same as i recalled.. so i decided to look at sor2 again.. i was right
round 5 part C is missing a part at the start of the level where axel walks from as well as at the end where you can see the wall and a unopened door where R bear is

your mod has cut this out. im sure you have you're reasons as you would not have just forgotten it, right?

do you have a list of any other things that arent quite the same?

if you did forget, any plans to add those parts in?

also i have created my own versions using your sor2 and named it sor2 remix [i added a few other badguys in and also the other arcade level you made for adams mod]

maybe in the future when my sor2 sms version has finished we could add all things levels together [with routes if need be] and call is SOR XL?

Jets don't like collision maps. That's why the beginning and end of the upper deck had to be cut off screen. =P

I'll have to think about your ideas for using this. See how it can turn out.

ah! thanks for this infomation, sometimes i have found i cannot put in a jet for some unknown reason..

know i know why..

so the level cannot have any kind of collision map with a jet? [the start doesnt need a collision map that one can be put on a layer set to -250 so axel walks behind it.. though i guess the last part would have to be cut off or put on another scene... hmm shame..

with out me looking again do you have any other areas you had to leave out? [the boat one was the only one that really hit me in the face.

Same problem with Ben_3_Death. Even after getting time over and continuing as Ash/Elle/Rudra, the problem still persisted in Round 3 (that of course assumes that I haven't downloaded the patch yet, which I did afterwards) I also worked on my own SoR2 voice pack, just for kicks.

Hi CajNatalie I have been enjoying your Sor2 Mod and have made a few different edits using it, and I have one id like too share with your permission that has 8 bosses at a time using 8 palettes for all stages and shiva it is quite a challenge.
