I had this problem too, so i uninstalled fpg edit and installed it again and this works for me

Off screen preventing mod?

Hi all.

I really need this. Is it possible to create a mod that forbids enemies from going off screen? I mean once they completely come inside the field of view they can't step outside of it as if the sides of the screen are walls.

They still prefer to keep their distance and hide off screen even though they have the advantage of outnumbering and power. Does not make sense to me.

Can't wait until I unlock the SoRR Maker and find out my self as I'm really busy with my job.

How do I make enemy waves, also how do I end the locked camera after they're beaten?

I dont know about camera, but i know how made waves of enemies, so after you place on stage enemy, right click on him and find "round 1", here you set waves (if you set for him "round 2", then he appear after kill last one form "round 1")

Once all rounds are beaten, the camera unlocks automatically.

Ok, this is where I have the problem. I want the camera to lock for round 1. Then unlock and make progress to another section where it locks again and more enemies attack.

Rounds are with respect to each camera lock. For example, in my test level I have the camera lock, then a bunch of Tigers/Hakuyos come down as round 1 enemies. After all the round 1 enemies are defeated, 3 Yamatos come down as round 2 enemies. Once they die, the camera unlocks.

For what you want to do, go to the specific sector you want to lock (press left or right) and place the camera lock on the right edge (so it's not included in a previous sector). Then place the enemies in the same sector you're in. Repeat for however many sections you want.

Thanks I got it, turns out the level I was using is too short for this to work properly. However if it's possible to make boss characters (Yamato & Shiva) wait for enemies to die while standing in the background, I could work around this.

You can switch the language in FPG Edit 2005 to English by going to: Utilidades -> Configurar FPG Edit -> Cambiar lenguaje del programa -> english.ini

You have done nothing wrong. Some others have reported this and it is a known bug. Hopefully B will be able to fix this pending the ongoing issues with the download.

I had to register in order to post this solution. :lol:

Well, I don't know if it will work for everybody, but I had the same problem at first and was pretty frustrated about it since it was the first thing I bought from the game shop and couldn't use SorRMaker.

Since the blue screen with 00/00 is actually supposed to be a file browser, and there's initially nothing in there, you have to create a folder in the "mods/games" directory and name it whatever you want. That folder will now show up in the file browser when you open up SorRMaker. All you need to do at this point is open the folder in the client with Enter (or whatever you mapped the Start button to) and the editor should open! An "ide_tmp.sor" and "stage1a.smk" will be generated inside that folder and you're all ready to edit. Don't forget to create a stage with FPGEdit first.

Note: Accessing the folder through SorR is to play your game and opening it in SorRMaker will open the project in the editor.

Thanks a lot for this tip. Was having trouble setting up enemy waves... This completely fixed my stage and now everything works great. :)

I can't seem to get any music to play for my stages. I tried creating a music folder in my game's folder but that didn't work. Has anyone else got it to work?
